So i have been seeing some interesting posts saying that suhani's upbringing can't be blamed for yuvaan's actions as she never taught him wrong and because if yuvaan's upbringing is questioned so is krishna's because suhani raised them both. But i disagree on both of these points people are making.
First of all it is not necessary for a child to be taught wrong for him to do wrong. It is the manner in which the parent treats the child that can influence their actions. If we look at it in yuvaan's case, suhani has raised him since he was born by herself when her relationship with yuvraj went for a toss and she had to raise yuvaan as a single mother. For this reason she was protective of him and pampered him with her love.
Yuvaan is a person who is used to being not only loved, but being pampered and being given whatever he wants, but more so than that, he is made to feel that he is deserving of everything he wants because for one suhani thinks of him as the ideal son who can never do wrong because she is under the impression that she can never give her child the wrong upbringing which is true, but she pampered and spoilt him to the extent that he had no discipline in life and growing up now that he is older, suhani quite literally cannot see him do any wrong and turns a blind eye to his mistakes because she thinks he can't do wrong because she raised him.
If a child's most trivial mistakes are ignored, over time their mistakes escalate to become bigger. Suhani's pampering and overconfidence has only given yuvaan an inflated ego, contributing to his selfishness of wanting the best for himself. Yuvaan needs to get off his high horse and realise he can't have everything his way, but that will only happen when his mother gets off her high horse first and realise she isn't the great mother she thinks she is as she doesn't give all her children equal love and attention and needs to see her sons actions.
On the other hand suhani only met krishna after the leap when she was about 7-8 years old. After soumya's demise, suhani took on the mantle of krishna's mother, and i can see that in a way she is protective of krishna too. She cares so much for krishna and wishes the best for her, but that doesn't mean the way she brought krishna and yuvaan up is the same just because she raised them both, because krishna hasn't been with suhani all her life, plus despite suhani loving her, suhani doesn't pamper, spoil and put krishna on a pedestal of being her perfect daughter or such like she does with yuvaan.
