So if a woman stays in a relationship where her husband is involved with someone else then it somehow makes her a "bad woman"! Wow! The douchebag who's apparently cheating on her is not the bad guy! But the woman who has been with him for decades, has stood by him like a rock through all the ups and downs, raised their kids is apparently "bad" for staying in a relationship in which she has been emotionally invested for more than three decades ! As for staying for her own ambition, WTH does that even mean! Folks do realize that someone in Gauri's position can easily walk out of a relationship, file for divorce and get plenty in alimony! If there's an iota of truth to this crap then her staying in it is infact the more difficult choice! I like how the onus is so easily put on Gauri! If the man she married has apparently fallen for someone else then how about that man stops pretending to be this family guy, file for a divorce and get on with however he now wants to lead his life i.e of course if there's any truth to this crap.

You should direct those remarks to folks who call Kajol or Hillary doormats. I don't remember ever using those terms for them! A Hillary forgiving a Bill Clinton doesn't effing make her weak or a bad woman for crying out loud. Yes, one might not agree with her choosing to forgive that person but then again we aren't the ones who are in her shoes! Sometimes people do forgive even infidelity for all sorts of reasons. Sometimes for the sake of kids, sometimes because they just love that person too darn much! It takes a whole lot of strength infact to forgive someone who's betrayed your trust like that so no I don't consider a Hillary weak from any angle. As for goddesses, I have never used that term for anyone either so yeah I'm not talking about Gods or Goddesses here but rather about mere mortals.

For someone in Gauri's position,the easier option actually would be to walk out like I said. Staying in that relationship that's if the bull out there is true is the more difficult choice.

It's not the question of "sympathy"! Your first comment in this thread was on the lines where you called her "spineless" , a "leech" or whatever that was. So my comments and some other comments were in response to that. You have an issue with others for using terms like doormat for Kajol when you are pretty much saying things on similar lines for Gauri. All I was trying to say in my response to what you stated was that for someone like Gauri , the choice to stay within such a relationship i.e if the bull out there is true would not be an easy choice. If you have followed Shahrukh and Gauri as a couple then you would also know the woman has a darn strong personality. You might not see her in the media much but read some of her interviews and you'll get a glimpse of how sorted and grounded she is as a person. Not to mention she is on record I think stating that if Shahrukh were to ever cheat on her or if he ever were to fall for someone else then she wouldn't want to be with him anyways so if she has indeed made a choice to stay then she is going against her own grain man. You talked about how she is staying for her own ambition , to which I stated if it were indeed about some materialistic ambition , the choice to walk out , file for a divorce would be the easier choice as she'll get plenty in alimony. To me if any of this crap has a modicum of truth to it then it is Gauri who is getting the raw end of the deal here even if it's a choice she has come to terms with.

Lol...I'm perfectly calm. But who said it's the right thing or the not so right thing. If anything I'm stating she is going against her own beliefs here by choosing to stay within such a relationship hence the tougher choice to make i.e if any of this bull is true. If anything I'm stating it's an easier choice for someone in her position to walk away if one is just focusing on "materialistic ambitions" which is what you brought up in one of your posts. If anything I'm stating that she is the one who is getting the raw end of the deal here even if it's a choice she is now okay with. Like I said I'm not someone who would compare as to why someone walked away and why someone is choosing to stay man i.e if there is truth to any of the rumors. I don't even get those kind of comparisons neither do I get the name calling in such instances because every circumstance and every relationship is different but then again to each his own. As for why are we discussing , well nothing that gets discussed here is of any consequence to us on a personal level. We don't know these people yet we discuss as the platform is meant for that purpose :).
