there is still demand n request to complete cgm evenif it was went offair abruptly

that's true..for fans trp doesn't matter..but the prb is with Sony.. Once the trp reduces they'll start their tactics..reduce the show time..stop promos etc etc..that becomes a nuisance..

But when you record it, you are also playing it from the air. So the TRP counter will register that as a view. It is not concerned with what happens to the feed after it is picked up off the air, whether it goes into a DVD recorder or is watched live. So it will count that telecast for the TRPs.

But if you watch it online, no it will not count. I am not sure of this last, but I think watching a repeat telecast does not count either.
