Vickey Lalwani Sonam Kapoor If all goes well, Rakesh Roshan (who is not directing Krrish 2 now since Rakeysh Mehra has stepped in to his shoes to direct the film) will direct Hrithik Roshan and Sonam Kapoor in his next (yet untitled) film. A couple of days back, Rakesh went to Anil Kapoor's home at Juhu and asked him if he could cast the latter's daughter Sonam with Hrithik. An insider said, "Anil was thrilled that Rakesh was keen to cast Sonam in a film under the Filmkraft banner. He immediately agreed that Sonam be paired opposite Hrithik in Rakesh's next film." "Rakesh saw Saawariya and was very impressed with Sonam's performance in the film. He thought that she was brilliant. He feels that she will look very good with his son. He wants the Hrithik-Sonam pair to become popular before the Abhishek Bachchan-Sonam starrer Dilli 6 starts its promotion," our source further said. When contacted, Rakesh didn't confirm or deny the news. He said, "I am still working on the script." On the other hand, Anil heard us out and then quickly excused himself. "I am sitting with some people. Let me call you back," he said. Not so long ago, there were rumours doing the rounds that Sonam would act with Hrithik in his recently announced film with Eros International and Carving Dreams Motion Pictures. Last heard, Sonam was negotiating with Eros International to play the female lead role in its next film. But seems like Rakesh will cast Sonam and Hrithik together before Eros International.

When I first read about Rakesh dropping Deepika and trying to get a Hollywood actor trained in Latin dance, I was thinking why not Sonam? Because I had read some time back that Sonam is trained in Latin dance. I am glad Roshans chose Sonam and not someone from Hollywood.

Hrithik and Sonam will make a fresh pair. Looking forward to it.
