Why is Saloni (the child) so happy and playful all the time? When the show started they described her background as being unhappy because she was constantly being mocked and mistreated by her mother, Shubra and other children. She's always playful not at all apprehensive of someone calling her names or treating her bad.

All I can say is 'Everything is fair in love and war' Meaning, 'everything is fair soc called creative team's minds - same character very smart and same character awfully dumb ' In this situation, flashback - very sad, current - vary happy.

It is possible that Saloni is showing alternative personality. She is always had so much pain even in child hood so her mind has blocked out all the pain and that is why she is so happy and bubbly.

Could it be she went back to a time in her childhood where she was actually happy without a care in the world. I remember Neil saying that Subra was small. So, I presume at 5 years she was actually happy and her mother actually liked her. 😆
