OTH Episode 1 discussion!

AHHH FINALLYYYY!!

I didn't think I would like season five as everyone would be all grown up but I LOVED IT. I didn't want it too end last night.

Everythings SO different *okay well not SO different but different*

Lucas and Lindsey wow .. I'm kinda surprised but I know it won't last long so I'm not worried.

Brooke! WOW I was never a huge Brooke fan but she looks AMAZINNG. And she's SO successful. I'm glad she's starting her business in Tree Hill.

Peyton. I felt bad for her but I'm glad Lucas and Brooke are helping her through this.

Nathan. WOW. Poor guy, I wanna feel bad for him but at times I just wanted to shooot him .. he didn't even TRY to walk and then he sat around drunk I love how Lucas and Haily just totally bit his head off.

Haley .. Wow Wow Wow. I wasn't a huge Hailey fan but I'm LOVINNG her makeover. I can't believe how rude that one guy is but Hailey handled the situation pretty well.

And I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LOVE LOVEEEEE JAMIE! AH .. He's SOOOOOOO cutee and I lovedd his scenes with Skills and Lucas. Oh god I can't wait too see more of him.

Mouth, I dunno why that lady is so rude to him but I'm sure he'll figure something out.

And that new nanny .. I'm kinda suspicious of her .. I think *this is just MY assumption* that she'll end up having an affair with Nathan ..

And Aw poor Leyton! They ended up apart because of a misunderstandingg .. I reallly hope they'll end up back together.

You are so right. OTH rocked. I used to think how much more they are gone show school life. But they did this grown up thing, I loved it.

I absolutely loved the season premiere - so grown up!

The first episode was slower than the second, but that's natural - with a new beginning, they had to show what everyone had been up to in the last 4 years.

My favourite things about ep 2 were:

1. The Brooke-Jamie "Take a stand" storyline. Jamie is sooooooooo cute, and I love his relationship with Brooke, esp. when he said "I'm glad you're my godmother". And Brooke was looking fantastic!

2. Lucas as basketball coach - now, I'm not the biggest Lucas fan, but I liked him this season so far...I esp. liked the way he told that irritating Quentin kid 🤢 and I love his relationship with Haley & Jamie.

3. Nathan is my abso fave, but his pity party in these two eps annoyed me...but I loved his little victory at the end of ep 2! Yay!

4. Peyton seems to be in the same place as she always was, but I'm glad she's back at Tric...

Okay, I know that Bryan Greenberg probably won't come back - he's busy with October Road and everything, but I had a thought yesterday...Peyton's all about hidden music acts and talents, and starting her own label will mean she follows her dreams. What if, in these 4 years, Jake has taken up music full time, having gotten custody of Jenny...and what if somehow, they meet through music? I don't know how many people here are L/P lovers, but I was always a J/P lover and will always be...I just wish he would come back 😭

On another note, I hope the writer's steike ends soon because I am dying to get more than 12 episodes of OTH this season 😭 loving it already...*sigh* Welcome back, OTH!!

Vasu, I am a big JP fan and I still have faith so dont worry. They will find their way back to eachother...Someday

It was great to see everyone getting along so well. But I don't think Brooke and Lucas will happen .. they seemed like good friends .. where you can tell there was still that something between Lucas and Peyton :D I love the two together.

And theres ONLY 12 episodes? Seriously?! I don't understand why the show's having so many problems .. it has a big fan base.

i loved S5...cant w8 for the next epi!...

Everyone looks good..except for nathan..i like d long hair..but he needs to shave n stand up soon..im sure he will..esp after the last scene of him n jamie..

love Haley's new look..she looks amazing..im loving brooke's blouses...wish i had all of them..hehe...and peyton has always been my fav...not a big change in her tho...

I love Lucas and Peyton...i like seeing their scenes..n im glad we got to see a lot in the 1-2 epis...i hope they will end up together...Peyton stil loves lucas..n it stil shows that Lucas loves Peyton...mayb his just angry with her for not showing up at the book signing..

Jake wont come back..that's a fact!..i like Jake..JP make a good couple..but LP makes a better one..for me!.. Love them from the start..Mark S. is a big LP fan..n im sure they'll end up together...

There are 12 epis so far..hope it continues..Mark even said that they might hav 6th Season coz of high ratings.. yipee!...

It's not so much the show's problem that we're only getting 12 episodes, more to do with the writer's strike. Only 12 episodes have been written and completeed - and the strike is going on for so long that all existing shows have/are in the process of being wrapped for the season. I heard that OTH have wrapped for this year...which means that if the ratings are good, we *might* get a sixth season, but if not....and unless the writer's strike ends soon, we won't get anything

Shailee, I would love it if that happened, but like Khushi mentioned, Mark is a big L/P shipper, which is primarily why we got the 4th season😆😉 Personal opinion only, but I used to like L/P in season 1; then Jake came along and we got that HOT chemistry and connection between them. And when L/P got together in s4, I didn't feel it...it felt...sickly. I don't know, maybe its to do with the fact that angsty, star-crossed lovers hold more appeal when they are apart than when they are together. I liked L/P's chemistry in 501 & 2, which I suppose proves that theory😆 I like them when they are apart....but I just love J/P...when they are together or apart. But sadly, BG is highly unlikely to come back

lol Mark will have to change his ship. Alot of sites have sent him BL stuff like 82 letters saying why BL are meant to be, scrapbooks, pic manips with BL together, and etc. Even I sent him so much stuff. With the look of S5 spoilers, its hard to say who Lucas will end up with. But I think BL fans are on the safe side because of the baby spoiler.(i posted it in the spoiler thread)

^But apparently the baby spoiler doesn't mean that BL will get together...at least B doesn't want that to happen
