KRPKAB ver 2 started off with the leads acting in weird ways

Dev is busy spending all his time devising new ways to harass Sona, any time that he has left he spits venom at his mom(much to our delight😉).Sona divides her time equally between work and getting back to Dev taunt for taunt..Bijoy is spending all his time finding a new match for Sona and applauding Sona for getting back at Dev..Ishwari of course is busy playing lady spiderman😉..Spins a web anysize..😉😆😆

Strangely enough while all the adults of the show busy themselves in petty oneupmanship battles, the most mature and selfless person in the show has turned out to be a six year old kid-Suhana Bose...So much for growing up😕

I am amazed and sometimes even worried seeing the maturity of the kid...

Scene 1:
The opening scene starts off with Sona giving a 6 year old the power to decide whether she wants to meet her dad or not(really Sona? When you still can't decide whether you have moved on or not,you expect a six year old to decide whether she wants to meet her dad?)...

I think a normal six year old(like Golu) would have reacted like this"Mujhe milna hai papa se..abhi..isi waqt..le jao mujhe"...That would have been normal six year olds

Soha decides that she wants to meet her dad,she tells her mother what she wants...and (in my opinion) observes her mom's reaction..She realizes that Sona is insecure and slightly upset over what she has said...In order not to upset her mom further, she changes her mind immediately turning the whole scenario into a joke"Socho, main aisi wali beti hoti to?"...Both endearing and worrying for me...😕

Soha seems to be born with the knack of slipping on masks faster than anyone can ever know..Scary for a six year old

Scene 2:
When Sona is caught in office,Soha asks Asha to lie that she is asleep even though she can't sleep without her mom...She reasons that her mom will be too worried for her and can't work..and that will make her come home even more late😲😲

Scene 3:
She tells Dev that she won't eat ice cream coz she is sick and eating ice cream will make her more sick and that will worry her mother and her whole family...whooo...wait..are you sure u r six years old Soha?At 45,my hubby can't think this way..at 69,mil can't think this way..and at 6 u r already thinking about not worrying ur family by falling sick?

Scene 4:
Yesterday in the precap when Golu asked her if she wanted to meet her dad,her reply shocked me...she said "maine mama ko promise kiya hai ki main papa se kabhi nahin milungi"...I am now convinced she is mentally at least 40 years old...The kid feels that even if wants to meet her father, she should not do so,because she has promised her mom...

Further instances:

She never divulges the details of Golu troubling her in school..she says that she can handle it herself...and handle it ..she does👏👏

She forgives Golu by looking at his his sad and upset face..Wow,if only adults could do that...Forgive from the heart so easily 😳😳

She doesn't seem to share her deepest thoughts with anyone..Till now,she doesn't seem to have shared her need or dream to meet her father with anyone except Golu.

In some aspects,is she a replica of Dev...?Never wanting to let her mother down, sensing what her mom feels through her expressions and unsaid words and acting accordingly, not having a real friend with whom she can share her deepest feelings, taking on way more responsibility than her age demands, surrounded with people who love her yet longing for someone special...In all these aspects she seems to be a mini Dev

Of course,I am not saying she will grow up to be like Dev coz Sona is not Ishwari..Sona doesn't lie or manipulate..She puts her daughter first,always...But in her mad rush to busy herself and convince herself that she is over her past,Sona is running away from her present...Her daughter reads her mind, expressions and face like a book...So why is Sona unable to sense that the kid is longing for a father? Why is she unable to sense that the child is going out of the way to please her?Why is she unable to sense that the child is actually friendless? Why is unable to see that the child is wearing a mask at times to please her?

I love Soha and her behaviour...But I also feel very sorry for the kid..She has grown up too fast...understood too much too soon...people have remarked about how Golu is a cutise teddy bear and Soha is so different..I think the CVs intentionally chose such a kid...

Soha has lost her innocence because she was introduced to the harsh world of responsibiilties, choices and the consequences of choices too early...At this tender age she is carrying her burdens all alone...She thinks before she does anything, says anything..because she doesn't want to hurt someone or trouble someone in the process...She is a wonderful kid with a lot of maturity, but I wish someone would take away her responsibilties and re introduce her to the world of children...

I agree she is mature minded but still innocent. Her love towards everyone is a different shade which they are trying to show.

You are so very right. She has lost her childhood. I am hoping Golu and his BigCha will help her in this re-introduction - at least a little bit

Fantastic Analysis

Firstly I had thought with Saurav and Dadi been back they will at least start pampering Soha playing with her but it looks like the Bose family have become way too serious to even realize there is a six year old little girl in the house .

Suha has mastered the technique to wear a mask of indifference so much like her father
the problem with the little girl not having a relationship with her father does effect her
as we all know the relationship a daughter has with her father has profound impact on her life makes her confident in life to make other relations but with Suha though she craves for her father she makes sure to keep that well hidden

When Soha is with Dev she transforms her personality into a little girl because she receives from him that pleasure of been a little girl

Yes soha s so adorable and mature. She s a replica of her mom. This proves dev wrong when he said she qill not become a good mother if she had a child. Those words were so harsh and painful.💔

Yes, Soha is indeed mini Dev. But it's not because Bose family didn't let her to be a child, but she is an old soul like Dev by nature. You can't force an old soul to behave like a child. Soha's lack of friends also is not because of lack of opportunities.

She goes to school and makes friends with an older man and instantly connects with him. Now some people might say it's the call of blood. But she doesn't behave like a little kid with Dev either. She doesn't forget her old soul persona and become like Golu. Why? Because that's not who she is.

She doesn't approach a single child in her school. Why? There are people who are introvert and like that who find people of their age immature. There's nothing wrong with it. It's just nature.

Suhana is an old soul in a young body. We met people like that who are wise beyond their years, as if they lived many lives, who are quiet and extremely intuitive. Dev was like that.

Otherwise how many children you know under 6 years old who checks if someone is suitable to compete by sitting on them while they do push ups therefore increasing the intensity before recruiting them to compete with them in annual day? Soha checked what Jatin is capable of before asking him. She didn't ask Saurabh or her grandfather. This girl would never have hired Vicky for the post of CEO.

Dev could have made friends when Sonakshi left and got estranged from his mother. He had all the time in the world to do so. Vicky was running the office anyway. Then why didn't he?

Dev said Natasha was his friend but he didn't spend a single moment being friends with her. He was friends with matured and wise Sonakshi. She was the one he connected with.

The same reason, Soha didn't make friends in school.

Where will they meet wiser, but same age or older people in their lives? But when they both met, old souls instantly connected with each other. Blood is there. But the connection comes from identifying similarities.

this is what exactly makes the mother in me feel like smacking sona. this is the only aspect of her parenting that i despise. Sona was irritated by the immature child in dev, who could not do his own work, was ever dependent and most importantly unable to take decisions of his own. now she is hell bent upon making her child self reliant, take self decisions and do her own work. In her eagerness to instill these qualities in soha, she conveniently overlooked the fact , there is a certain age when children need to be introduced to certain emotions and responsibilities and the feeling of self reliance and independence need to come with age.

poor soha my heart goes for her, just like her dad, who was forced to grow up quickly as he did not have a father in his life, she too is turning out to be like dev in his absence.

the day this truth hits sona, she will be the most shattered one. all she wanted a child who grows to be a strong adult but not a strong adult in a child.

It comes with having a single parent I guess.. I heard kids of single parents grow up way more quickly and are more mature compared to kids with 2 parents. They are also protective of their parents and dont want to hurt their feelings.
Like Dev was also a son of a single parent when his dad passed away. He is protective of her and puts her needs first because u know the sacrifices ur parent have made for u. And there are also parents like Ishwari who will guilt trip kids and tell them again and again how much sacrifices they made for u and make u feel guilty

This is why Dev and Soha need each other. The same reason why Dev needed Sonakshi. Dev had been conditioned to suppress his feelings all his life and do what makes his family happy. Dev narrated to Sonakshi during her accident that he used to get gola for his sisters and run all the way to give it to them to make sure it doesn't melt. Now tell me which kid behaves that way. Yeah, those like Dev and Soha who feel guilty for living their own lives at the cost of making their family unhappy. The main reason why Dev fell in love with Sona was because she was the only one who din't expect that from him. She let him fly, be himself and share all his problems even at 12 in the night without being judgmental about it. It is also partly why their marriage crumbled. Cos they stopped being friends post marriage and the non-judgmental nature of the relationship they shared initially crumbled under all the issues. Anyways, coming back, Dev needs to do to Soha what Sona did to him. Be that friend, that understanding father figure who lets her fly. Basically someone who is always ready to listen to her and not judge her for her flaws. This is also why he needs to act mature once the truth is out and not put the kid through a nasty custody battle. Thats the last thing Soha needs right now and the worst thing a kid can be made to do is choose between her parents. I really hope we see a mature track where Dev plays that mature, ever giving parent who will be that perfect fit to the strict, responsible parent that is Sona. Not because he needs to understand Sonakshi. But because his daughter deserves it and who better than Dev to understand what a single parent goes through and how Soha doesn't need another messy, impulsive adult in her life.

Beautiful post! Suhana is indeed little Dev in some sense. She has been introduced to the world way before!
