Apart from acting, cuz well duh, what is it that makes guys fan of an actor and girls of an actress.. Guys mostly like girls that are hot.. Girls like actors that are hot.. But ab looks k lie tou koi larka kisi actor ka fan nahi banta usually.. So what is the triggering factor?

Personality matters.

For SRK, its his romantic hero avatar.

For Salman, its his commercial flicks

For Govinda, it was the tapori and identification with the working class

For Akshay and Ajay, its their fight scenes

For Aamir, its his acting (if you can call it that).

And for Actresses aside from their beauty

For Madhuri, it was her smile and her dancing skills

For Sri Devi, it was her comedic timing
