Are participants promoting themselves?

Having a look at few posts in which in every thread has the message of " Vote for Hemachandra " ...i wonder if the particpants have asked the friendz and relatives to promote themselves on different desi sites so they can influence the decision of those who dont follow the program that frequently or those who are undecided. I dont understand that the participants have not even performed in " Agnipariksha " and these people are asking for votes for them. Decision on voting should be based on the performance of the participants and not on the fact of whose " marketing strategy " is the best. Let them perform first...then see whoz the best...and then vote ! No offence to the fans of Hemachandra

Maybe but even if they do is it wrong. I don't think so. They are already doing so through media.

What's wrong if they do? even in American Idol live show, each participant was directly asking the viewers to vote for them!

yes ofcourse they can promote themselves.
