A relationship, be it of friendship, or between friends, or siblings or of husband-wife works with wonders when they have these two things present in their relationship.
1. TRUST
Trust on each other. Not verbal trust but the one that comes from heart. When you know and understand the other person like your favorite novel or a story.
When you know that the other person won't hide anything from you.
When the relationship is crystal clear from both sides, you see that invisible bond of trust.
And then, even if either one of you hides a thing, you know that there is something which pushed that person to hide. On the other hand, you have TRUST on that person that s/he WOULD let you know of that hidden thing, and after a time you don't need to investigate or dig up for things, that person tells you on their own.
2. NO INTERFERENCE
By interference I mean, that there is no space for a third person in your relationship, that may hold the potential to hinder the roots of their relationship.
When the strings of your relationship is loose you yourself let them set free.
And irony is that trust is the sole factor on which a relationship can work. Love, care everything else builds an environment for a relationship to work, but the engine that drives it is trust.
In Dev and Sonakshi's relationship what lacked was internal trust, from both of their side. They believed that they trusted each other, but as scenario varied, we could see that their trust hindered. Their love, passion, care was strong enough to build an environment for their relationship to live, but to make it sustain they required trust.
And their this flaw was seen as a benefit to Mamiji and Vicky, which further instigated Ishwari and her insecurities to interfere between their relationship.
On the other side, Bijoy's interference produced a clash in Dev-Sona's relationship.
Lack of trust and interference are equally dependent on each other. If their is lack of trust, there would be interference of people in your relationship which would affect it as a result, and vide versa.
For the demise of their relationship, Dev-Sona both are responsible, with Dev sharing his part relatively more than Sonakshi.
Sonakshi had the strength to stand up for her love, while Dev was not. Ishwari held the strings of his heart.
Sometimes it's said that the people who want to see you fly are the ones that tightly hold your wings, while they flutter with best effort. Ishwari did the same, she held Dev's wings preventing him to fly in his own sky, and he blinded by the misconception of her love couldn't see it.
She compared herself and her love for Dev with Sonakshi and her love for Dev, moreover she considered Sonakshi (and also her to be newborn baby at that time) as a bait to bring Dev closer to her. While she forgot that every relationship has it's own space in a person's life. And no relationship has the capability to take place of the another.
Dev being the person trapped by his mother's emotions, could not see her wrong and unjustified actions. He never trusted Sonakshi's point of view whenever she tried to make him see of his mother's wrong deeds.
For a person it is important to be able differentiate between right and wrong. For a parent it is important to make him realize of their children's mistake and not to ignore them or blame them. And same is applicable for a child, to see his/her parent's mistake and make them understand about it instead of blaming them
Dev never understood his mother's mistake and neither did Sonakshi for Bijoy's interference.
And that's where the drowning of their relationship had actually started.
And the point their relationship drowned was -
1. Ishwari's excessive interference.
2. Dev's not standing up against the unjustified actions
3.. Bijoy's instant reaction which led to Dev slapping him
4. Dev taking it is an insult of Ishwari when Sona gave them the money.
5. Sonakshi's lack of trust on Dev's intetions and trusting Vicky in the waves of anger and hurt.
6. LACK OF COMMUNICATION
P.S - It is important for CV's to show
1. Self realization of each character's mistake which led to heir separation.
2. Sona herself telling about Soha to Dev.
3. Sona's way of handling her insecurity of Dev snatching Soha away from her (and what I think that she wold let Soha take her own decision rather than imposing her decision on Soha)
4. Flashback of these 7 years.
