On to the important affair which is a party for Kis Desh fans every where!
We laugh and cry and celebrate all together and with each other while cherishing
the characters of this show.
Why do we feel this way ? Is it because of story or actors or back ground music
or scene set up with which various lighting to set mood or the costumes ?
Is it the concept - a romance filled family bonding story?
Is it the comedy scenes time to time that crack us up?
Is it the scenic beauty especially in out door locations such as Rajasthan desert?
Is it because of heroic dialogues in the script for lead actors or supportive actors?

Is it because of heroic dialogues in the script for lead actors or supportive actors?
Is it because of actors' performances with so much expressions that you felt it's real?
I am sure some of you have asked these questions... but didn't quite know how to pinpoint
what you love and like about this show.
In general we know a TV show or Movie or a play in a theatre identified with
the lead characters. It is true for this show also.
But is it all there is ? Just the Premeer chemistry or Harshiti Magic or something else?
Truth of the matter is ... along with the lead characters and actors we also love and admire
variety of things about this show including the main villain DJ Chachi!!
So lets walk down the memory lane and feel their presences once again today.
We remembered the family, the siblings' bonding, the main villains. What else is to reminisce?
Couples romance is something that goes on forever despite of all tensions / fights.
Gayatri vs Bauji romance starts from the beginning in Canada, Bauji runs down the stairs in shorts ready to go for jogging in the morning while Gayatri has arranged for a pooja with neighbourhood ladies at home. His romantic moods the audience get to know from Gayatri telling people usually.
She mentions he sings 4 lines from a song every year for her on his birthday. The family celebrating the parents' wedding anniversary and many more scenes.
Then we see Kulraj di and Kiran Jiju the ever loving supportive husband and wife.
Kiran was treated as a son by Bauji. He trusts him abundantly though he has had reservation before accepting him.
Prem met with Kiran and realized he really cares for his sister and convinced his father to accept Kiran. Kiran is very grateful for Prem and since that day he was completely loyal to the Junejas in every ups and downs they have been through. An ideal husband / father / son in law / friend / brother in law and Kulraj ideal daughter / sister / sister in law / wife / mom. Their three children Ketan, Vikas and Tanu symbolize the loving relationship they share.
Prem Heer our hero and heroine of Kis Desh keep us entertained in a different way.
Their hit and miss encounters from the very beginning / hide and seek unexpected meetings / connection between their hearts / the subtle way in which they communicate whether through their eyes or gestures / their conservative "obey your elders" Indian traditional culture they try to carry out through out their lives while over coming the hurdles.
Prem Heer became Premeer and the actors who played the characters Harshad and Additi became Harshiti. That is how strongly the bonding between the characters were loved by fans. Fans do not like to see them apart whether on screen or off screen.
The chemistrilicious lead pair or jodi. Of course this is from fans' perspective.
Preet is youngest son of the Junejas and Meher youngest of Maans. They unexpectedly made a choice to share a life and got married in a very tensed situation - it was a life or death time for Lalit Juneja and Preet saved his life. We could say Preet and Meher saved the family and the family honour that Lalit is so worried about.
Meher and Preet together referred as Meet are cute and supportive to each other. They were good friends who became partners in life and stood by each other always. Another ideal couple in Kis Desh. Their cute daughter Gungun is too cute and their second child on the way a happy family until Preet met with a bomb accident.
Harman and Maya unexpectedly landed as a pair in the show. What is it about them that grab attention. Well both characters are referred as "game changers' of the show. They change the direction of story or the cause of trouble time to time.Their son Arjun makes brief appearance post leap.
Nihal the ever understanding loyal employee of hero Prem or long lost oldest brother of Heer and Meher could be referred as a sacrificial lamb in Kis Desh.
He unfortunately like the youngest daughter of the Junejas, Veera and all trouble fall on his head. The weight of trouble is so much he never made appearance after the leap.
He is always mistrusted by all except his sister Heer and an elderly member of Junejas Biji. He is often blamed, accused of any which way possible by the Junejas while he always helped them in every situation.
He married Veera to save the reputation of the Junejas and a request from his sister Heer and Bauji.
He goes to prison due to accusation from entire Junejas - though Bauji trusted him, he was unable to go against the rest of his family.
One of the tragic end of a wonderful character and left with loads of loop holes that
we were unable to resolve till the end.
Is there other couples ? Well not in terms of marriage but there are interesting pairs they entertain us through out the show. Who are they?
Preet Bauji: Preet's "Chand" jokes referring to his father's bald shiny head. Bauji chasing Preet are too hilarious and welcome anytime.
Preet Prem: The Ram and Lakshan jodi - referring to the epic hero Ram and his kid bro Lakshman. Each brother would any day any time would stand up for the other. They are best buddies and cared deeply towards each other.
Prem attended an interview in Delhi on Preet's behalf and was in a bomb blast that family believed him to be dead.
Preet was ended up in a bomb blast due to a threat from their father's cousin along with Prem.
Preet felt guilty for what happened to his brother in Delhi and he never got over this feeling. He stepped on behalf of Prem. It was tragic and unnecessary - only thing that can be said is one brother would give up life for the other. Their relationship was that strong and deep.
There are no other brothers on TV as these two were. No one could replace the chemistry they shared - it really was a bromance in all sense.
Kids in the show are they fun ? Of course they were. Tanu walking in to surprise Prem while he was trying to romance his fiance Heer and ended up making Prem say " Sunday ho ya Monday roz khao anda...".

Cute Chahat - main attraction post leap Premeer ki nishaani - symbol of their love is adorable in every scene. Whether she's saying 'you're the best chachu" to Preet or "I love you mamma I love you papa" to Heer while trying to sooth her mom's temper or her telephone chat with her new best friend "hotel ki owner ji Prem Juneja" just so adorable.
There are many interesting scenes, some we laugh with the characters and some we cry with them too but we love them all. There are some distasteful things. There are some out of the ordinary beyond our imagination scenes that keep us glued to this show.
Our directors especially Garry Binder ji , may he be in peace. He started off the show with amazing creativity that it shined. Such a great blessing! All the creative team and all the cast and crew are appreciated for their hard work. Each of them have a role to play either on or off screen. We may not know their names but we are grateful for their hard work.
A show starts off with a producer and a director and supporting creative staff and actors in a TV channel but it's the fans who make the show alive and keep in their heart.

Happiness and sadness or good times and sad times of Maans really touch you at the beginning of the show, especially when they leave behind two of their young daughters as orphans in a tragic bus accident.

Junejas we get to see variety of things such as Brothers' bonding and later sisters and brothers bonding.

Prem was shown resembling the epic hero King Ram and Preet as Ram's kid brother Lakshman who worships his brother like God. Preet and Prem share same father but have different mother.
However there is never a moment that we can see this as the brothers share a strong unique bond!

Harman the quiet and unpredictable brother of the three - he can be nice and he can be doubtful about people and use people to achieve his needs.
DJ Chachi is unique and stands out because of her amazing one line comic dialogues. She performs with so much precision that you really don't feel she's acting ever!
DJ is the one all would hate but couldn't smile or laugh at her antics every so often.
Rishab Rampal is the next dangerous villain - is well remembered for his antagonist behaviour towards Heer in Rajasthan episodes also a place Premeer meet after a period.

There are many more antagonists from day 1 to last episode of this show. Each of them kept us wondering when will they disappear? Not really. We were just wondering how our lead characters would come out of the troubles created by them.
