That is the problem with Hindi serials.They always show tings in black and white.So that viewers completely support one relationship and are against the other one.In fact Kings of that era had several concubines with whom they slept .They were never in a monogamous relationship with one wife.But like i said this is a Hindi serial so i don't expect them to show show things as they were.

But at least historical character can be shown respectfully and they can show some basic logic.Even if the entire story was fictional ,logically any husband would show love and respect to the mother of his child

That's just the thing. True historical/mythological lovers want the facts, not the fiction. The audience that watches these shows wants to see the differences in relationship the King has with each wife. It makes for more interesting viewing. If people want to see typical monogamous relationships, then normal TV soaps are available. 😆

Justin Was Showed In CAS ,He Was Smaller Brother of Bindusra ,,That Mens After Bindusra Birth ,, Justin Will Born ,,,

But Maybe Cv Will Not Show That ,,Because it is Chandra NANDINI Love STORY

They might show Justin being evil like his mother, just to add masala, and make attempts to kill Bindusara for the throne. 🤪 Such masala is typical in Ekta Kapoor shows.

And yes, since this show is about a fictional character called Nandini, this fictional character will also have a fictional child(ren) with Chandragupta.

I wouldn't even be surprised if this fictional child is made the next King instead of Bindusara.

it will be more interesting to watch..

like with helena , he is in serious mood

with nandini , he is ..ah kya kehte hai ..khoya khoya to kabhi gusse vale mood me

and with durdhara ..vo khus aur hasta rehta hai

If it's a true historical adaptation, then Chandragupta has only one wife at a time.

Rani Durdhara, the daughter of Dhanananda, was his first wife, and after she died Chandragupta did not remarry for a long time, refusing all proposals of marriage from Hindu princesses as he had loved his wife a lot. Then he came across Helena, and he fell in love with her for her wit and intellect, despite being a foreigner.

Helena was a very wise and clever woman, and she raised Bindusara as her own son, filling the void of his dead mother. She learned the culture of her husband and was his true companion in life.

However, it is said that even Helena died 5 years after her marriage, and after her Chandragupta did not remarry.

Ekta Kapoor made up a fictional wife because neither Durdhara nor Helena live a very long time, but I wish she had at least kept to the facts most of the time, instead of making Helena downright evil.
