Begum ji takes up Kickboxing to lose her pregnancy weight ASAP

Kareena Kapoor Khan is in a hurry to shed all the excess kilos she has put on during her pregnancy. The actress starts shooting for Veerey Di Wedding from April and needs to be her slim-and-trim self before that. A source informs, "Kareena is doing almost everything possible to lose that extra weight. She has always been into yoga, but now she has also started attending kick-boxing classes thrice a week. Her bestie Amrita Arora Ladak recommended it to her because it is more effective in weight loss post-pregnancy. She had done it herself and had got great results."

Just 45 days after Kareena gave birth to Taimur, she graced the grand finale of the Lakm Fashion Week (LFW) Summer/Resort 2017 as show-stopper for designer Anita Dongre."I may not be size zero right now but as long as I look great, I can take that walk," Kareena told a newspaper before the ramp walk. Notably, Lakm Cosmetics is one of her most lucrative endorsements and as its ambassador, she's been the show-stopper at the finale for more than five seasons of the fashion week.

About her active social life, Kapoor told a publication: "In India, women are conditioned to hide themselves till they get back to the right' size... If you've put on a bit of weight when you're pregnant, it's okay. It's the only time you can proudly flaunt the extra kilos and say I'm a woman, and this is what God has made, and it's such a beautiful thing." There's no escaping the pressure though. "I'm a little less nervous about the rest of my pregnancy as I am about getting back into shape," she told a newspaper.


"I've been keeping myself so busy that Saif says You'll have this baby in Mehboob Studios!' she told a publication, adding, "Being pregnant doesn't give you an excuse to be lazy. I've always been a fit girl, and that's key... I'm dressing up and feeling good."

She's changed her gym? Yeh toh Shahid wala gym hai, Yasmin Karachiwala ki nahin.
