Angoor khatte hai

So during the end of season 1.. when Sona said she doesn't want to continue their marriage.. ..Dev went into his "Angoor Khatte hai" mode and said so many bitter words that he may or may not have really meant...

I guess if they had just separated and Dev had not said all those words... Sona would have definitely shared news about Soha ... though she may not have wanted to get back with Dev.

Dev and Dixits being always selfish ppl, would have done everythign in their power to obtain Soha's custody... So Soha would have grown up not knowing her mom and in dixit mansion

where as since Dev did not know or did not even care to check on what happened to the bose family who were actually thrown out of their house by him .. had he tried to see if everything is ok or atleast a little bit concerned ... then he would have found out about Soha... it is not like Sona was in hiding all these years... she continued to practice her profession ... so it would have been very easy to track on Dr. Sonakshi Bose , nutritionist ... but he didnt...

So... i ask everyone this question... why should sona have called and told Dev about Soha... given that he himself and his whole family behaved so bad and threw sona out...

Sona explained very well about all her concerns... it is not like she didnt tell dev... even when she got angry and went to bose house ... she told very clearly that She is treated like an outsider ... that is really her one and only problem... and what did Dev do ... nothing... he actually started lying and cheating behind her back and called her mom aunty all of a sudden... didnt care to wait for her or pick her up on his birthday... didnt even open his bloody mouth.

Sona always told him the concerns and he just brushed them aside saying that it is all illusion... and his mom really loves her ...

anyways back to the topic... sona doesnt owe Dev anything ... she should not give a damn about the fact that dev really wanted to be a father and he is missing out so much ... She should only be concerned about what Soha wants and Sohas feelings. i feel she started noticing that soha is infact ready to meet the dad and sona will make it happen.. it is not as simple as saying that " ohh yeah i came here to drop off our daughter " when dev asked why she is in school.

She needs to prepare soha... she needs to prepare herself... she needs to be ready for the worst (custody battle)... soha will be the one to suffer if there is a battle for custody.
So lets be patient... i am sure sona would do the right thing.

sona would have definitely told dev if Dev 2.0 behaved normal and civilized like Dev 1.0 inspite of all the drawbacks... but now after seeing this dev 2.0 ... i am sure sona needs some time to prepare.. before the big reveal.. just wait and watch.

I wont be surprised.. if Sona calls up dev and tells him she wants him to meet the suraj in her life... and this Jealous Mr.Dixit would say "not interested" thinking it is jatin ... lol ...

i clearly saw her concern when she saw Soha drawing dad's picutre. Sona was in deep thought .. .she was guilty ... not for Dev but for Soha. I am sure she will do the right thing... she needs this extra support to make it happen... as of now .. she only has bijoy who scares her that Dixits will take Soha away... Sona is now strong enough to fight the custody battles... but what if Dev recites to some nasty techniques and doesnt play fair game ( we all know he doesn't care about law much and is capable of cheating if needed ).. So Sona needs to prepare well before revealing.

Firstly she needs to give it a thought which she will give with the help of Jatin. Her thought process will more clear in Monday's episode. But i seriously hope she discuss this issue with Soha. I was actually expecting a scene bw soha and sona after school issue. But cvs -_-

I think jatin will give her that push and support to tell Dev about Soha...
regarding School issue... it was a fight between two kids... one kid was saying Fathers mothers se best hote hai... Soha fought with that kid that moms are best...i wonder if the teacher called the other kids parents and asked why their kid said Father is better than mother...

i still dont know why the teacher called Sona... just because she is a single mom ? i think the same day bijoy asked Soha if she misses her dad...

anyways... i think sona will definitely try to tell Dev... but with all the saas not sure if Mr. dixit will be willing to listen to what she wants to say... lets wait and watch ... CVs are unpredictable.

nope dev should not get to know that Soha is his daughter this early. Soha might not be missing her dad, she might just be curious about him. Like the little girl said, we can only miss something if we had it in the first place.

Well I agree with your post Lavanya. Seeing the jerk that Dev has become today, torn jeans, into alcohol throughout the day, insulting others, demeaning others' achievements, no respect towards women and treating them as object to vent out his frustration - Who would in their sane mind want their daughters to meet their dads in SUCH condition ?

Lavanya, What you wrote stands totally correct and justified action by Sona at the time of ugly separation both dev and sona had.

I agree with what you have said.

If sona didn't want sohas truth to be known to dev then why did she even come to Delhi. I understand her reasons for not telling before but now there is no excuse. I think for both dev & sohas sake she should tell them the truth. I think both will benefit from it i.e. Dev &a soha.

As much as I am all for strong, independent women, keeping your head held high, the CVs have put me thinking that Sona did not treat Dev as her bestie, the way Dev did.
