What a great thread
A myth busted

Aamir >>>Salman in Multiplexes

Salman >>>Aamir in Single screens

Single screen ki prices hoti kiya compared to Mutiplex that's why ATP of Dangal is higher

Dum Laga Ke Haisha has an ATP of 154 because of only working in MP.

As far as brute star power goes, it's Salman >> Aamir.

Aamir does better films, and his producers usually work around these prices. Not that it's a bad thing.

Ab jab Footfalls jayda nahi aaye, toh ASSUMPTIONS laga do, Multiplex mein Jayda chali so Gross jayda hui.

While brutal Truth is that

Apply Any calculation, 373 Cr can't be achieved by having higher footfalls in Multiplexes only.

Dangal

HIGHER GROSS = 1st 10 Days have Highest TICKET Price (Which is common for Aamir's last 3 films)

FOOTFALLS = Having Tax Exemption in 5 States helped it to cross Bajrangi Bhaijaan's Footfalls.

Dangal's 1st 10 days made all the difference, Enhanced Ticket rates pumped up the collections, while Tax Exemption took some time to get in flow, when it came, then needed push in footfalls jumped in.

AVERAGE TICKET PRICE of Dangal came = 137.93

Apply it on Bajrangi Bhaijaan

BB

Footfalls = 3,54,17,000

Enhanced GROSS = 4,88,50,66,810

NETT = 3,59,20,00,000 Approx

Here you go, you get HIGHEST GROSSER OF THE YEAR. Now add those TAX EXEMPTION STATES GROSS in it, where Tax wasn't deducted.

NETT = 374 Cr

👏 ⭐️

Multiplex / Single Screen Ratio of 60-35% for = Aamir Khan

Multiplex / Single Screen Ratio of 50-50% for = Salman Khan

LMAO, kion bhai haluwa laga hai kya =)) 🤣

50-50% Ratio se Bajrangi Bhaijaan ka Single Screen Business hota = 157.50 Cr na ki 101 Cr.

Next time bring Numbers to support your defence theory, Assume toh bahut saari cheezein hawa mein aise hi ho jaati hai =))

Or Next Time, Ask Aamir to get Reasonable footfalls as per collections 😆

Haan Talvar ka ATP 167 hai jo ki in sab films me sab se zyada hai. o is liye nahi ki uski ticket prices baaki sab films se bhi zyada high thi, balki is liye ki Talvar ki business aur footfalls ka maximum percentage hissa multiplexes se hai jahan per ticket prices high rahti hai compared to single screens jahan per ticket prices low rahti hai aur jahan per Talvar ke business aur footfalls ka percentage bahut hi kam hai. yahi wajah hai ki Talvar ka ATP 167 sab se high hai aur na ki is wajah se ki uski ticket prices baaki sab films se high thi.

multiplexes vs single screens 50-50% ratio me sirf Salman ki films hi nahi add ki hai balki usme Aamir ki Dhoom 3 bhi add ki hai kyunki ye teeno films multiplexes ke saath saath single screens me bhi equally strongly chali thi.

aur maine multiplexes vs single screens 50-50% ratio me footfalls ki baat ki hai aur na ki business ki. agar business ratio 50-50% hota to single screens me ticket rates bahut kam hone ki wajah se in films ki footfalls aur bhi bahut zyada hoti aur na ki abhi jitni kam.

is hisaab se to

Bajrangi Bhaijaan ki multiplexes me Average Ticket Price 119.18 hi thi aur single screens ki Average Ticket Price bhi 119.18 hi thi.

aur Dangal ki multiplexes me Average Ticket Price 137.93 thi aur single screens me bhi Average Ticket Price 137.93 hi thi.

aur Talvar ki multiplexes me Average Ticket Price 167.52 thi aur single screens me bhi Average Ticket Price 167.52 hi thi.

aur yahan per multiplexes ko higher ticket prices rakhne ke liye badnaam kiya jata hai.

jabki multiplexes ne bhi apne ticket rates exactly single screens jitne hi rakhe hai.

agar All Time Top 5 Grossers ko Talvar ka ATP 167.52 jo sab se zyada hai us se adjust kare to bahut zyada adjusted gross niklega compared to jo Dangal ki ATP 137.93 se niklega. is se Dangal ko bhi uske adjusted gross me fayda hoga.
