Wasn't KJo the director of this ad? Lagta hai he foretold Deepu-Ranboo-Katty's story.

Racist? šŸ˜† ...that's a big word, especially when two females in the ad were of same color šŸ˜† more like famous Indian preference for fair complexion, which is bad, i agree.

The ads are just so silly, who even takes such ads seriously lmao.

I cannot believe what I just watched

Fair n lovely. Ponds. Lux. Fair n Handsome.

N number of 'white skin' commercials in 90s -Early 2000s. And Fair n Lovely selling was at peak too. It's only from past couple years this has been condemned.

Exactly. This is hardly racist. It's not like they had a Black person in the video who turned out white (like in that Korean detergent ad). People need to stop with all this. Stop pretending like you live in America where the actual "racism" movement exist and stop trying to be a SJW. People have the freedom to use whitening products of they want to so stop forcing you own feelings on them. Hell even someone like Beyonce bleaches her skin.

may be the TM actually does live in the US...how do we know she doesn't?šŸ˜†
and ok even if racism is not the right word here...but 'colorism' IS...and that's not exactly a non issue in India.
In the ad how they kept on saying pinkish white glow...it reminded me of colonialism/white supremacy that helped colorism in India...and the ad does not even make sense,so he fell back in love with her oh so passionately because she is fair now?!...it's like those ads which promise better career if you are fairšŸ˜†

Priyanka Chopra: 'My dark skin was a problem in Bollywood'

Priyanka Chopra claims her "dusky" skin was a problem when she started acting.

28 August 2012

Priyanka Chopra has claimed that her skin was a problem when she first started acting.

The actress will next be seen playing a hearing and speech impaired woman in Barfi!.

She told The Times of India: "People had a lot of issues about the fact that I was dusky and not a conventional-looking heroine. But I still got the opportunities I did. Grooming is a very important part of any girl's life.

"In the early days, I did not even know how to apply make-up. Over the years, with the help of various teams, I have worked on a vision of me and there are things that I could change in the process. This is true of most heroines.

"You learn to take care of yourself. I am not against plastic surgery. If it helps build self-esteem, I don't think there is anything wrong with it. But if it becomes an obsession, that can be a problem. For me, I got confidence from my films doing well."

In July, the 30-year-old left Twitter for two weeks because of negative comments from users on the site.

The star has previously said that she wants to be the most in-demand actress in Bollywood.
