RS has spoken zillion times in different interviews about how much he respects Anu. And that Anu was the one who taught him technicalities on their first movie coz she was experienced and he was a new. She taught him about cameras, angles, shots.. etc. Patiently explained him. That holds so much value for him. This I have heard in no. of interviews.

Anu has not been very kind to him on public platforms. When they were going out she didn't want to acknowledge their relationship. But I don't think so.. any of that mattered to RS or matters. So, however Anu behaves or not, RS will always be fond of her. That's a given.
