Maya's soliloquy really said it all, didn't it? I don't remember all her lines or I would have opened my post with it. I'll probably edit this post later on to include it whenever the episode is up online.

With this episode, I saw Maya reminiscing her own role in her past due to Arjun's kasam, bits and pieces of it and not the full picture though but at least she showed me a slight conflict today which she hasn't ever done before. I don't think she still would have told him the real truth and would have again presented a distorted version of the truth to serve her own purpose. That is why and how she went back to her non compos mentis mode soon after and a huge chunk of her truest self showed up at the place where Arjun had partied. Kinda doubted that she was actually there spying on him and she was! The scene also supports my theory of the fear and control Maya wants to have over Arjun. She wants to run like poison in his blood and probably doesn't realize it that it eventually kill him.

Saanjh despite her own imperfections and emotions always tries to be a better person and that's something I really like and respect about her. She recalled a panic stricken Vandana and that she said but I'm glad she let it go for the moment.

Arjun put rest to all the speculations and theories about him trapping Maya just for a riches. Something that I always said about him, the guy is a little slow but he has his heart in the right place. It's incredibly hard to put aside your own pain just so that you can be happy in your loved one's happiness.

In entirety, the qualities I wanted to see or the assumptions/theories or analysis I had made about all three principal characters stood out today. I wouldn't blame Vandana at all for making an attempt to call off the wedding at the last moment because what else would she do? The bride's father kidnaps her minutes before the wedding and scares the life out of her. She's bound to think that Maya's entire khandaan is legit nuts.

Although, I'll have the strongest of urge to punch someone if at the end of the day, they tell us that 'Maya pagal hain/Maya is insane'. 😳 I need a more definitive, logical and medical explanation to whatever mental health condition Maya is suffering from. She might have gone insane to the point of no return but I want to know HOW and WHY.

PS Please read my replies if I make them as I can't be repeating myself over and over again for same questions or points.

Had missed first few minutes of the episode. Arjun came over just to confess a silly party secret. The guy genuinely tries to be truthful, respectful and transparent in his love for Maya and she does the exact opposite. And then soon, they have their 6th vow. Maya, um, no, not going to work in the longer run. 😆 She tests him over and over again and this man hasn't once tried to do the same except this once today but trusts her that she must not have hid anything from him that he should have known. Here's the soliloquy though.

Main har jagah hoon, Arjunaur kahin bhi nahijaagti aakhon mein khawab banke aaungibheed mein tanhai banke lipat jaungitumhari dhadkano mein mere pairon ki aahat hogitumhari khushi mein sirf meri chahat hogimain pagal hawa hoontumhari saason mein apna ghar banaungitumhare zehen ki har kone mein chaa jaungi
Aaj main jeet gayi, ArjunApne kal ko hara kar aaj main jeet gayiAb tumhein mujhse koi dur nahi kar payegakoi bhi nahi.

I loved maya monologue today in bar.
She seemed like a different personality. Cvs are actually adding thrill element now on show..
By the way, did you notice. The beginning scene when maya went to meet arjun she was white dress. .but in bar scene she was bck to yesterday dress. . isnt it strange. Or maybe bad editing. The bar scene must have been shown first. .or she changed to white dress to meet arjun and again went to bar wearing that last day dress and said excellent dialogues.

PS: thnk god you share the view that maya must not be called direct pagal. Whatever the problem is with her, that is sure some psychological disorder. And this is adding intersting layers to her character. When she is normal she doesnot evn have slight hint of lie on her face. It seems she is wearing a mask.

I loved it too! Whoever write her dialogues, they do a great job at it. No, it wasn't bad editing. I think it was done on purpose to make us first feel certain that Maya wasn't physically present at the party thus making us buy the same theory Arjun did. Next, they throw a twist at us revealing that she was and it was another way of hers to test Arjun thereby adding a new shade to her canvas and making it even more thrilling.

I have never supported, advocated or approved the notion that people can or should aviyan be called 'pagal'. Thing is that term is used very easily in reality and is generally a non offensive term said in a lighter context. I don't think Maya is completely insane, that would mean being in a state of mind which prevents normal perception, behaviour, or social interaction; seriously mentally ill. There is an underlying disorder/condition to her state of mind and they should write and execute that in a way that is realistic, logical and medically backed up.

i hope maya ka sach is relevant not that maya is pagal.
i felt strong that maya was present at party . but did she go back , change that dress to say that dialogues or it was fb for audience to show that she was present .if so than what she meant by i won over my past b4 taking promise from arjun!!

Yep, it better be.

I can't be a 100% certain but the closest possible interpretation I can come to is, she meant she didn't even have to reveal her truth to Arjun when he had asked her and she also found a credible method to test his integrity when it comes to her or their relationship. So, it was a win-win situation for her.

Anni I want to see only this Maya, I knew she was in the club spying him...before asking a promise from someone we should be able to keep it up...here Maya is a big hypocrite!!! Saanjh,I never doubted that girls intentions...they are always pure..though thousands of topic arouse everyday questioning her morality and motive for me she is the genuine soul...she was bad mouthed in this forum, she was told she would even enter suhag raath of ArYa..but when she was talking and explaining vandana about ArYa's true love I could not see any morons making any posts about it...morality has gone to grounds along with Maya in this forum...yet, I love Maya for her shrewd,cunning,manipulative mind and for me this is mayas show and this Maya is our protagonist,and she is my love too...I want to see where life takes her when she is destroying everyone's love...in Mahabharata karna would ask Krishna that if he was wrong to stand by dhuriyodhana and to fight for his justice,Krishna said no,but you could have changed your insults to results by working for lower class people to gain thier position if they are talented...same goes to Maya,she was brutally tortured but she should redeem in arjuns true love,but I see that's not happening..by every step she is taking she proves her worthlessness for trust and love...people may get agitated here but just for once think from arjuns angle what sin does that guy did to receive this many deceives in the name of love!!! Would we choose someone like Maya if arjun is our brother or son...vandana is not wrong in my eyes...

Very interesting take on the scene...Even I interpreted her last few lines to mean this. She was finally able to get Arjun to himself say that he did not want to know her past and did not care what her past was...so now she does not have to live with the fear of Arjun knowing the truth and the guilt, if any, of hiding it from him. This is what I think she meant when she said that she had finally won over her past and no one could seperate them now.

But this also raises the point that if this is what she meant then she must have said all those things in the club AFTER her vachan's to Arjun. So after Arjun left did she change her clothes and go back to the club again to say these dialogues??? 😕 Does not really make any sense...Why not just say those things to herself in her room???

I wonder if this is just bad direction or did her dialogues actually mean something else.

I understand what you mean. Saanjh and Vandana have received the worst possible back lash in this forum. I personally don't judge any character in a ruthless way and just try to stick to studying them and where they come from. Bas writing achi honi chahiye, mujhe achi, buri, kaise bhi Maya chalegi because she's the soul of this show. I can question Vandana's impulsiveness but if I sit down to get mad at every character aviyan, I'll go mad instead. 😆
