I am not one to fall in love with a show this quick but Bin Kuch Kahe has won me over with just 2 episodes (actually it won me over with the very first but I wanted to wait before making a post)

I really just need to fangirl so hard over some of the stuff in this show

1. The wardrobe - YESSS. I love how each character's wardrobe says something about their character. The key isn't that they are dressed in western clothes, but its that they've kept it simple yet stylish which makes it so believable. None of the characters wear the same type of clothes in different colours & shades😆

2. The introduction scene with the whistle tune & the swag with which the characters danced esp Myra...how lovely & refreshing was that? Such a simple way to introduce us to the Kohlis without any long zooming in of their eyes, body, hair then face.. even in that simple few seconds of song/dance, the characters' personalities were reflected. Myra the young & playful one, Abha the one who takes care of the kitchen & house matters, Rhea the stylish girl, the jumpy kid & the grumpy mother who stopped dancing mid-way & needed some push & coaxing from the family to get back up again.

3. HUMOUR! Finally humour that is not done in at OTT way.. humour that comes across in simple situations like Rhea asking her fiancee to tuck his stomach in or even asking him to make 6 pack abs for her. So so real. Or even in the way Rhea pointed out that Mummy was still talking to them even though she was apparently protesting.😆 And of course the smart kid pakaoing everyone with his knowledge of penguins' body parts. AHHH so childlike!

4. THE LEADSSS! Myra - finally a female character on ITV (apart from Meera from BBKD.. that show was short-lived though) who is still trying to figure out her path in life. Even though she is the one that holds the family together & may appear sorted, she clearly has led a very sheltered life. She wants to explore life not just beyond Jaipur, but beyond the confines of the house & her awkwardness in this new world clearly reflected today in the way she noted that she couldn't deal with Kabir the way she would have dealt with another man in Jaipur trying to hit on her. She is still trying to find her space in this new world & you can't help but root for her. She may have a misplaced sense of pride sometimes but hey that's what makes her real.

Kabir - AHHH! HE IS SUCH A CHARMER❤️And I dare say this is rare having watched ITV back from Doordarshan days.. where we have a ML who meets a girl, & takes the initiative to harmlessly flirt & give her his number. Like how realistic & effortlessly charming was he? So so realistic! Its happened to my friends before hehe. Such a refreshing change from the usual forced marriages, or guy approaching girl with some motive or even love at first sight. He was simply harmlessly flirting (no strings attached) without crossing the line & gave his number.. nothing serious. Its normal. Now the ball is in Myra's court & up to her whether she wants to take it from there, though of course destiny has another plan as per the precap😉

AND I WOULD SAY BRING IT ON! I have jumped onto the MyBir ship happily😳

Hope this show remains light, youthful & fresh for the remaining 100+ episodes.

I typed this in a hurry coz I just had to let out my happiness so please do add on the stuff I missed out.😆

Cheers,
Samridhi

Agree with everything you said.
The male lead is so damn charming. My girlfriend and I fangirled with the way he flirted with her & gave her his number. The same thing happened to us actually.😆
Amazing chemistry between the leads and the show is so light and easy on the eyes.
I love each and every character so far. I am on board this ship too!

Now, planning to give it a try. I am tired and scared of trying to watch almost anything as it does not remain sane or even worth watching after a 100 or so episodes maximum. (Some degrade faster or start on a false note).

I read somewhere it is a finite series with 160 episodes. Hope that remains true.

@Swetha, Coraline
You should definitely give this a try! Its so sweet of both of you to want to check out this show because of me. I can't guarantee that the quality will remain throughout because I'm not on the creative team BUT yes, it is a finite series & they've shot a good half of the show already, with no plans to extend further than planned. And the writers/makers/team seem very confident of the product.

And Swetha, I was watching for Shamata also, but dude the ML won me over with his charms. You'll stay on for him I am sure.😆

YAYY! I am glad :)
I heard the rumour that its a 160 episodes series. The leads only confirmed that this show will not run over 100+ episodes. That's about all I know.

Yes. We met in EDKV forum.
And we talked about Gulaal also. 😉
I really want to say so much about this show. But at that time I was little busy but then I thought to say hi to my friend. 😃
This show gave me feel good type of feeling. And nice relatable show. ML and FL characters are very well designed. That light flirting was so good to see. Actually we can enjoy this show without stress. Freshness is there. 👏
Will discuss more when the show proceeds. 😳
