DP's next w/Vishal B & Vikramaditya M Produced by VVC

Deepika Padukone was spotted outside producer and filmmaker Vidhu Vinod Chopra's residence last night. Present were quite a few known faces in the producer's circle like Siddharth Roy Kapur, Vishal Bharadwaj, Vikramaditya Motwane and even Kiran Rao. This instantly made us wonder if there's a movie in talks for the actress. We all know that after a hit stride for quite a long time, Deepika decided to slow down as she wanted to give her Hollywood career more attention. Therefore, she only signed Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Padmavati, which also stars Shahid Kapoor and Ranveer Singh. Her Hollywood film, xXx: Return of Xander Cage with Vin Diesel released in January and didn't get an expected response. But with that coming to an end, DP is back in action in Bollywood. We had reported to you that she will be joining the crew of Padmavati as soon as she returns to India.

The SLB film will release in this year, November to be precise. However, post the film's release, Deepika won't have any other film in hand. Therefore, it does look like perhaps the actress is meeting producers and directors with a view to find out what's cooking in the industry and whether there's a project coming her way. With the kind of stature the diva has in the industry, filmmakers always keep her as a first priority. Be it in terms of talent, beauty, fan following, reach, we can go on and on. It seems like a perfect union as many familiar names from the industry were present at Chopra's residence. The actress was seen making a call as she left from the producer's place. We've known that the actress has been offered quite a lot of films but she is choosing carefully. There were reports that she might do Iranian filmmaker Majid Majidi's upcoming film, Beyond The Clouds as Shahid Kapoor's brother Ishaan Khattar's sister. However, a source close to the production unit revealed that the actress did a look test but Majidi had something else in mind so he couldn't take her for the project. He does though, intend to write a fresh script and wishes to work with the actress soon. Apart from this, there hasn't been much buzz about who DP has signed a film with. There were again rumours that she will be in Aanand L Rai's next with Shah Rukh Khan. But the news hasn't been confirmed. We'd really like to know what plans Deepika has in terms of Bollywood and after Padmavati, what's her next film.

Sid Roy Kapoor, Aamir Khan productions - weren't they supposed to form their own production company? There are VVC and VB too..Are they too joining in?

They want her as one of the producer partners so that she rubs off her luck to their new company.
