Hey guys, I'm back to the forum after 3-4 days of absence and while I have many threads remaining to be updated, I felt an extreme need to make this post.
In today's episode, a drunk Arjun said something that bothered me a lot. They say a drunk man never lies. And today, despite Arjun's response being "Yes" when Ayan asked him whether he truly loves Maya, it was very nerve-wrecking and alarming when Arjun gave Ayan guidelines to success - having a rich girl fall in love with you and within months have her give you everything of hers. Arjun could have said this in jest, since his friends were all teasing him, but let's look at the probability of Arjun's words being truthful.
1. Arjun is someone who has, from the very beginning, craved the lavish life. He's always wanted that power and money.
2. Arjun's love and proposal for Maya was very sudden, out-of-nowhere and unexpected. Him using Maya as a medium to attain her power, money and lifestyle would explain his sudden change in thoughts.
3. Arjun is ignorant as a person. He always has been. He has never seemed to care about anyone's feelings, even Saanjh - his childhood friend, number one cheerleader and support system. What makes us think he cares about Maya's feelings?
4. Over and over, Maya's existence has reminded Arjun of how easily accessible things can be if you have power. Example - the Ayan police station case
5. At the very beginning, Maya had, as much as she could made Arjun's life impossible and a living hell - locking him in the washroom for 6 hours, have him climb 15 floors of a building, etc. Arjun could merely be trying to take revenge.
I hope Arjun does not turn into a negative character, although that would be the bestest twist ever, I'm a die-hard ArYa shipper and I believe Maya has gone through enough in her life. If I were looking at Beyhadh from a thriller-show point of view, Arjun turning negative would be my dream come true, but by now the makers have attached me too much to Arjun and Maya together as a couple.
Now, if Arjun does turn out negative, I expect Maya to get her life together and torture him into eternity. And with that, I conclude this post.
