Major faux pas in CN storyline:

The narrative of every love story needs a cupid or two...For the love story to evolve...And a series of misunderstandings(the life line of Indian TV soaps)...N then the leads fall irrevocably in love... 😆

I am very open to the Chandra - Nandini love story, hence I'm still watching the show...I admire RT as an actor, n I think Roopa's character has added depths to SBP's acting calibre.

But the makers of CN are committing a major faux pas by making Daadi & Mura the (stupid) cupids...It is impossible for many of us to digest this storyline that:

1)Dadi n Mura (sans their IPL type cheer leader costumes) are so irrevocably in love with the daughter of their son/husband's murderer...This defies logic

2) Even if Nand had not murdered Suryagupt, yet, mils of a royal family from that era would have been grumpy of Nandini's lineage...Father, a barber, with whom the mother indulged in adultery n bore him several kids without wedlock...A crime greater than none in those times, esp for a queen...

3) I don't even wish to discuss the dumb pratiyogitas of this dumb n dumber duo of Daadi n Mura...😆

4) n have the CVs forgotten the several Chandra murder attempts by Nandini?...How can Mura n Dadi NOT be aware of that?...N how can they forgive that???😲

As Amina pointed out in this thread only, their son in law, ie Chhayas's husband was killed by Nandinis bro, Dhan (I had somehow forgotten that 😃)...Dadi n Mura so hopelessly in love with Nandini makes no head or tail to me ...😆

The correct sequence of events would have been Chandra & Nandini falling in love, & then Mura & Dadi gradually accepting rNandini upon seeing her inherent good qualities...Cupids could have been anybody else...😃

You are so right

But logic is one thing missing in indian serials

may be dhurudhara could have been cupid or nandinis bhabhi

but not a mother and wife who lost son and husband to nandinis fathers treachery

and daughter also tried killing son in haldi ceremony than on way from the gurukul etc

may be ketki chandras foster mom

Not to forget her son in law was killed by nonother than nandanis brother,su oravantika playing cupit would have made sense since both not liking nand very much as what he did to them

But mayya nagari anything is possible

Prem, actually even Durdhara could not have been cupid here...Let's be real...Polygamy is literally like the survival of the fittest...No queen would have survived polygamy with saintly virtues...😆...No sane co-wife could have been a blind cheerleader for another cowife, I'm sure...😆

Yes, Ketki could have been a very very good choice indeed, me thinks...😃

Good valid point, Amina...I had totally forgotten this...😃

So,

1)Nand killed Suryagupt

2)Avantika committed adultery while she was queen

3)Dhan killed Chhaya's husband

4)Nandini made several attempts to kill Chandra...

N the CVs are showing that Daadi n Mura are head over heels in love with Nandini 🤣...

Any sane rationale will only n only suggest Durdhara, who is carrying the Maurya dynasty's heir,(of the current 3 queens) to be the chief queen...Period.

Guys, Moora doesn't know about Avantika's adultery. She was under the impression that the Nandini was born in after the wed lock of Avantika & Nand. So thinking about her previous friendship with Avantika, she proposed Chandra &Nandini's wedding.

Now she is trying hard to prove that she is a good mother in law and she doesn't make an innocent pay for none of her doings. She doesn't want to punish Nandini just because she is Daughter of Nand, who was her abuser, Letcher and murderer of her husband.

Suryagupt, didn't get time to inform his wife or his friend about the adultery of Avantika.

1) The whole world knows of Avantika & Nand...That all her kids were his, while she was married to Sheshnag(?) All her kids are known as Nand's kids...Doesn't matter whether Nandini was born out of wedlock or not...Let's be real...We r talking about the 4th century BC, where social tabboos ruled, n Nandini belonged to a total criminal type family...So how can u say that Mura didn't know...

2) Nandini's crime was her murder attempt on Chandra...N it is the most natural instinct in the world to be vary of murderers...Even if we say that Nandini should not be punished for Nands crime, at least the makers could have shown Mura n Dadi vary of her, atleast initially...N then her nobility, good h eart n good deeds getting the better of their sceptimism...But I simply don't understand their blind love for her at this stage...
