After Kiara Advani and Anushka Manchanda began day 3 of Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017, it was time for Swara Bhaskar and Nimrat Kaur to turn up the heat. And we have to say that they totally set the ramp on fire. While Swara walked for Jade, Nimrat walked for Sonam and Paras Modi. Both of the actresses looked gorgeous as they walked the ramp with grace and vigour.

Swara wore a specially crafted silver gown. She paired it with a intricately embroidered long cape. Nimrat, on the other hand, was spotted in a maroon blouse paired with a very heavily embroidered ghagra. Both of them had minimal accessories. Talking about Jade's collection, we saw a lot of gold and silver print and embroidery work in their pieces. The designer duo made use of white, silver, red, golden, black and orange colours very well. In Sonam and Paras' collection, which consisted of modern ghagra cholis, we saw a lot of pastel colours and prints. They even launched their menswear line where they showcased sherwanis and Nehru jackets. Both the designers showcased a wide variation of outfits, designs and colour tones in their collection this season. On the professional front, Swara was last seen in Nil Battey Sannata, for which she a lot of critical acclaim. She will start shooting for Sonam Kapoor and Kareena Kapoor Khan's Veere Di Wedding next. Meanwhile, Nimrat was a part of Akshay Kumar's Airlift last year. Coming back to Lakme Fashion Week Summer/Resort 2017, Sonakshi Sinha had walked for the grand opening show in January. The main fashion week started from February 1 and day one we saw several celebs including Sonakshi Sinha, Arjun Kapoor and Mohit Marwah attend Kunal Rawal's show. Varun Dhawan walked for the star designer and totally stole the show. On day 2, Preity Zinta took center stage as she walked the ramp for the first time post her marriage.
