While I know I may neither be the first person to bring this up nor the last one at that, but this is just one thing which keeps nagging me. So please bear with my musings, you are welcome to express your views. This is just my personal turmoil and I might just be completely off my rocker, who knows! 😆

So today while I should have been working, I was instead thinking about the forthcoming storm that we are about to head into in the show and how that is going to define our journeys ahead. I say our because, yes this story is no longer just about the characters or the actors, it has almost become a part of each of our lives as well. We laugh with them, we cry with them, for them; in short we react to each of the situation they find themselves in. If not there was no way we could have ended up filling 600+ pages of this forum, so how can it not be our journey, even if it's just as mere spectators!

So coming back to the issue at hand, we all know Dil bole Oberoi is coming and while I'm as excited at the prospect of watching Rudra and Omkara's journey to becoming the Ishqbaaz that they are born to be (since, of course, how can dadi ever be wrong, right??!!) what I fear is it is might just take away the one thing for which I actually started watching the show, the thing that got me hooked to this forum. I'm an ardent Shivika shipper, please do not doubt that, but as much as I love Shivika, I simply adore the Obros bond. I'm not saying its perfect what they have been showing, but given the time and number of plots they have going, I think they are trying to do their best. But with DBO coming on, I fear we might lose out on this much adored Obro bond.

A little flashback here please!! Wasn't the show supposed to be about their bond and how they overcome all obstacles? How their love transcends all? If Anika is Shivaay's heartbeat, aren't Om and Rudra his very heart? Isn't that what they have been telling us, that when the time comes to pick between his brothers and Anika, there won't ever be a choice?

And if there is one thing I feel I'm going to miss more than the Obros, it's the very beautiful 'AniOmRu' bond which never got a chance to develop!! With Om and Ru moving out, would we ever be able to see that bond develop?? Currently, they respect her as Shivaay's wife, but she doesn't exactly have her bond forged with them. I feel like it might just end up as a beautiful opportunity missed out all together! A bud crushed before it had a chance to blossom!

Honestly, this is the first and the only forum I follow. And if I may, a little too much I think! But the writers here are simply amazing! Be it A.C. 's Revenge series, Asya's THGWTHW, Geet's feels, Napstermonsters Dil Bole and Drabble series, or the other amazing works that the other writers here are doing. I enjoy their stories, and the finesse and the charms with which they weave an enchanting web of words and bring to life these characters beyond what we just see is astounding. And it has been in these very stories that I have seen the potential of the 'AniOmRu' bond! What it can be and so today I feel a little sad because, I know just exactly what and how much we are going to miss out on!😔

But as its said in theatre, the show must go on! So my dear fellow passengers, tighten your seat belts coz I think we are all in for a hell of a bumpy ride and who knows just may b, u know may be along the way we might just find something to hold onto and enjoy this ride!

Sorry for the rambling! But these were my two cents, which I just couldn't stop myself from sharing! Go ahead and leave yours if you have anything to share! 😎

I understand your concern. But this story was started with the concept of three brothers but whatever reasons trp, time constraint they couldn't capitalize on other stories which definitely had potential. Om and Rudra were not suppose to just be a part of Shivika story but were suppose to have their own stories. Now its late to start their story on IB in continuous flow as you said they have too much in hands and moreover trp viewers are used to see shivika might not like any other taking precedence over them. This is the brilliant idea which I think first time any Creatives think about show to give proper story to other brothers and give a spin off. It is a new concept and we should be thankful to the creatives for this.
The amount of Obbros or AniOmRu moments we were getting previously can still be given by having Maha-episodes as they are placed next to each other and time line would be same. It's not necessary bond can only be formed by staying in same place they still can love and care for each other if they are staying away.

As per harneet all characters will be there in both the show...so dont worry we will get obros and aniomru...and more villians also...

Completely agree on that, for some reasons the show never became what it was supposed to be or what many had started to watch it, now the show is only about Shivika, which is a very cute relation (after he took the bullet for Anika, I want to forget his crimes) and we couldn't send them to the background for the sake of other characters which now need big ss as their stories are not at developed (they are not even halfway of what Shivika is now-Rumya, I meant, Om hasn't even started) hence they need at least thrice the SS which is not possible considering the time constraint, hence spin off was the only option for the characterization of others, although in this the biggest losers have been us Obbros lovers who have actually lost any hopes that we ever had about the show getting back to Obbros show 😭 😭
