Hi all,

can someone pls tell me how I can update my profile pic ..just not able to change it even when I upload fresh pic ...

also how do you post pics in a post? ..I tried giving a URL for image source but it throws up an error

I have been trying to update my profile picture for a long time but it simply won't. I posted on Help Desk also.

I changed my dp last yr as whenever try to upload new pic they crop it badly or not bother to change it

Hi,

For such general inquires regarding technical problems on the portal, we normally use the Suggestions / Comments forum. Next time round when anyone has a generic administrative issue, please post it in the above mentioned forum.

There are various topics going on regarding the profile picture not being updated:

1) HELP PLEASE: Profile photo keeps changing back to old photo

2) I am not able to change my display picture

Temporary solutions have been suggested in the aforementioned threads such as changing your display picture from Google Chrome if you are currently using another browser (such as Safari, Torch, Mozilla Firefox etc - which are incompatible). Check out the threads, there may be something useful.

I am therefore moving this topic to the S&C forum.

Quick throw in: the problem has been resolved, I can see updated display pictures for myself and everyone else, despite using the Safari browser.

Yes. The problem has been solved but not fully.

For few people.. their DP did get changed but to the one uploaded 2 months back. Their latest DP is some other pic.. ( which we can see by opening it in new tab and adding random prefix like ?
