Kailaash Kashyap's hate for Atharv surpasses everything in life for him. He doesn't care about his wife, his mother, Vividha, anyone. All he wants is to destroy Atharv's life in anyway he can.
It's amazing how we've pretty much come back full circle in our show. When the love story of ViTharv started, Kailaash was always there in the background, manipulating situations and especially his daughter, because he thought the dhoodhwala with no father's name did not deserve to marry Vividha who was the apple of his eye. Eventually he forcefully married her to Ravish and left Atharv half dead and as a madman, thinking his task was completed.
But he didn't count on ViTharv's deep and intense love and Atharv's promise to Vividha that he would come back to her. Not only did Atharv fight death twice, but he overcame madness for the woman who resides in his soul.
And today was the day ViTharv finally got engaged. Atharv's happiness knew no bounds and it was so cute to see him teasing Vividha and asking for a kiss, and at the same time flirting with Daadi which eventually resulted in Vividha's beautiful smile.
But Vividha was still worried about the man trying to harm Atharv despite Atharv reassuring her that so long as she loved him, he was fine. But Vividha's instinct has never failed her when it came to Atharv. She couldn't shake off the feeling that something was wrong.
Atharv could not stop staring as his beautiful fiance descended down the stairs. And just before they could exchange rings, a ceremony had to be completed where Vivi had to write her would-be husbands name in a plate of rice. And as Vivi happily spelled out Atharv, the lights went off and Kailaash cunningly wrote Ravish's name instead.
The shock on everyone's face was evident but it was Atharv's face that Vividha noticed. Atharv, who knew Vividha loved only him but was taken aback by the name he saw on the plate. And as Vividha tried to explain that she had written his name, Atharv swiftly handled the situation by telling everyone that he knew it was only his name on her heart and with a smile exchanged rings with his Vividha.
But behind that smile was confusion and pain. Vividha, who knows Atharv so well. came out after him to talk to him but he insisted that nothing was wrong and she didn't have to explain.
But Kailaash Kashyap has struck again once more by putting a tiny seed of doubt in Atharv's mind. This time Kailaash knows he can't use his daughter to manipulate things so he will use the one person whom Atharv is bound to as well. Ravish.
This is going to be a real test for Vivi and Atharv again. Vivi is not confused at all about her feelings for Atharv yet she knows that he still has a slight sense of insecurity. Atharv's biggest fear is losing Vividha and that fear has begun to lurk subconsciously in his mind.
