THE MUSIC THAT BINDS US
"No child, that is not the correct tune", said Satyabhama as she helped a little girl with her veena. After the girl corrected herself and started playing the melodious tune Satyabhama closed her eyes and listened to the music as if she didn't know that there existed a world around her. Standing from a distance, her husband, the lord of universe, watched her with a smile. Satyabhama loved music and this was known by everyone, some said the reason behind it was that she had a melodious voice herself, the others said that it was because she was excellent at playing musical instruments but no one but her husband knew what was the real reason for this passion of hers. She found an inner peace in music, she found happiness in music, she found herself in music and lastly she found him in music. Some people tried to search him in statues, some in prayers and she in music, it might sound weird to some people but not to him because he knew and understood her, she always tried to find the things which was destroyed or questioned by this chaotic world in a peaceful world which she called music and the things which she couldn't tell she wrote it in the lyrics as if her words covered in melody and dipped in the tune would reach his heart and in the most beautiful way it did. Sometimes he looked into her eyes while she sang and he would know that she felt something was incomplete in her music and he knew what was it and it saddened his heart because he cannot complete it. The music that she needed he had given it to her other part, the instrument she needed, his flute, he had given it to her other part, the part of her which he had left in the forests of vrindavan. The way one part of the earth got the rain and one didn't, the way one part got the shade and one didn't ,the same way one got the music and one didn't. But he knew the music of his heart would complete the incomplete music of satyabhama's heart. "The music of heart is the music that binds us, satyabhama",he thought as he kept smiling at her and listened to the music of love her heart sang.
