Forbidden Fruit and Love Confessions

I know there are spoilers going around saying that Annika will confess her love for Shivvay and why I feel it is not the right time.

Senario - Annika confesses and Shivvay is dumbstruck. Annika is embarrassed becuz Shivvay does not reciprocate the feelings and we the fans are heartbroken. That is a very depressing scenario in my opinion.

Shivvay has not even been shown having internal thoughts about his feelings for Annika, like Annika was shown to have. How is this man who has not even started taking the time to understand his feelings towards Annika going to respond when she declares her love?
It is too soon for Annika to declare it. Shivvay needs quiet and alone time to be still and listen to his heart. If the NB's don't keep him busy then Annika does and that leaves very little 'ME' time for the man.

Shivvay should be shown to at least understand what it is he is feeling for her and why is what he feels for her so different than what he feels for Tia. Tia was his fiance for the longest time but he never had such intense feelings for her except for the kidnapping incident day. I would prefer Shivvay shown to struggle with his feelings wondering if Annika feels the same about him or is it just him that is experiencing the first stirrings of love. For that to happen we cannot have the object of his love hovering around and in plain sight constantly. How can you miss someone who is always there??

Also, I wonder if Annika will live at OM now or at her maternal home? Pinky asked her to get out of Shivvay's life and she agreed but is shown to come and meet him quietly. So has she broken her promise to Pinky??
Pinky asking Annika the promise of staying away from Shivvay has, unknowingly, ended up playing Cupid between her children. The forbidden fruit is always the most tempting and by asking Annika to stay away from Shivvay she has done just that.
Up until now no one or nothing has restricted Shivvay from having easy access to Annika. He has always gotten his way. Annika herself cannot be kept away from Shivvay for more than 1/2 a day and even that is stretching it ..lol

I would not mind her living at her maternal home to keep her promise to Pinky because it will not only make Shivvay miss her constant presence in his life but we will see a courting Shivvay calling and texting her continuously, if not dropping in at her house at all and every odd hour 😳
Back at the OM the room will feel empty, the couch she sleeps on will be empty, he will smile for no reason at all recollecting all the crazy things they did together. That is what ShivIka is missing - not a love confession but Shivvay's realization of the first stirrings of Love.

Also, all the begging that Pinky did for Annika to go away from her son's life I want repeated by her but this time the begging should be to come back to her sons life.

I don't think the love confession is the problem. Shivaay has openly flirted with Anika, and Anika blushes. Their feelings are requited to each other. I always believed that the main problem is Shivaay and Anika facing the world with that truth. Another problem is this NB track. They shouldn't even have time at the moment to sort out of these feelings with all these attacks.

I am confused.In the starting of the show, Shivaay had started feeling for Anika and at that time Anika felt nothing for him. Now the CVs seem to be showing us only Anika's POV and concentrating on her love feelings. So Shivaay is still a mystery.But Shivaay does tell about his feelings through his gestures. Like when it bothered him when she refused to talk to him, he was in pain when she got hurt in her hand. The way he pushed her away in the cottage and then immediately rushed to check her and apologized. There has been changes in him. But yeah he has still not acknowledged it to himself.
Its like he has already accepted it as his right so its not blinking on his radar now. U r right. His love realization will only come when she goes away from him( for more than 1/2 a day 😛 ..more like for a week or so).
Then as u said, we should get scenes where he sees her everywhere and misses her.

I feel like Shivaay is sort of taking Anika for granted at this point. As long as she's around, he doesn't feel the need to inspect that thing between them. As long as he has access to her, as you say, he feels he doesn't need to give a name to their relationship. Yes, they are pati-patni but for him and even for that relationship, he has an excuse- it's something that just happened to him. Not like he meant to do it (which he totes did 😆)

To be frank, your write up reminded me of the Annika's viewpoint of Love in one of the initial episodes. " Aisa kuch hoga nahin phir bhi mera dil chahta hai ki aisa Ho" 😆

Cvs could have actually bring up pinky and anikas relationship to new level and can show pinky being nice to anika after she saw what anika's presence did to shivaay in the Icu, but the cvs will never ever show that 😡
Why saas bahu have to always fight?

I want pinky to know Tia's ugly truth first , realise what role anika plays in shivaays life and turn her eyes and heart and give her some motherly love!

Oh! Man I am so glad someone else sees this like I do. I keep saying that he so wanted the marriage that he almost jumped at the opportunity when it presented itself before him. He chased after her for heavens sake - chased HER, not Richa, not Tia - Annika!!! 😆

That is why Anika needs to go away from him because then, and only then, will he need to give a name to this pull, this attraction between them.

She'll go away, he'll want her back but he'll also be forced to think WHY he wants her back (I'm counting on his brothers to work on that, too😆).

If she seizes to be with him, say because of the marriage breaking up, he'll have to explain to himself why he wants this girl without a NKK back. Right!!!

This might be unrelated but with Anika, I always feel like her fear of abandonment and her complete lack of control over her tongue form an interesting dichotomy. She'll want to express herself but she must have an inkling that Shivaay might not accept her, even push her away, if she does. Will be interesting to see how they tackle this.

Oh! I have been hoping that Ms. Gul will be that creative ...lol

Ultimately, I agree - without some level of separation Shivaay might not be able to realize his love and might even push Anika away when she voices her feelings. Also, woh ishq hee kia jis main judaai na ho 😆😉 Yup!

Having said all this, the new OLV suggests Shivaay has brought Anika home.
He has and I saw the OLV. He has done such a superb job as the Ideal husband that I am finding it hard to stay mad at the man ..lol

The OTT antics suggest to me that something major is coming. Either separation - jo ke hoga nahee because budget.
We can forget about that dream now. With DBO taking off it's never gonna happen.
Om is leaving and I think Rudy as well. If Annlka leaves with Sahil, Shivvay will be wandering all alone in the OM with no one to cook breakfast for... lol😆

Or Tia's reveal which I feel might happen because they're really focusing on Pinky's drama now. So Pinky's drama this week and reveal the next, to amplify the impact.
This is more a possibility if she is repeating all the stuff that happened from the past episodes. In the past episodes when Shivvay gets back from the hospital the whole chip drama with Om trying to commit suicide takes place. Then it was Annika he blamed for the chip leak and Om found proof that it was not her. Svet was thrown out as a result. This time Pinky blamed Annika and maybe Ru will find out (with his recording) that it was Mrs. Kapoor and Tia will be thrown out. Who knows??

Very true. These guys don't even get a peaceful morning, forget a day, to sit down and just try to understand what they are feeling for each other...lol
And yes! Shivvay needs to make this official and public but with Tia around it is in a state of limbo and I feel that has been very much to Shivvay's advantage and convenience till now
