So Karthik can't bear swarnish in front of his eyes... all these small fights he forgives naira for being with them. .
However all hell is going to break loose and god knows how he is going to flip out on Naira when she wants to live in goenka villa..

In the park scene he told Naira that the closer she goes to swarnish the farther she ll go away from Karthik. . Will this have a deeper implication probably?? Papa beta milan... when is it happenin??

One thing is sure though... However pissed of he is at Naira he shall never leave her side and end up listening to her... actually I am getting little impatient for wedding to happen... I want intense emotinAl kaira scenes...

Let's see what Karthik the angry young man had in store for us :-)

He loves naira so much but at times his hatred for his father and step-mother can be seen outweighing his love for her, but he does eventually give over quite soon. We all know though that things are going to become far more tense after kaira marry.

Everytime I see his angry looks he reminds me of a passive aggressive Edward Cullen. Sure love is blind but to me his anger signals red flags. For me it seems his anger with his parents is more important to him then his relationship with Naira. If she was the priority he wouldn't get angry with her. I think his actions speaks volumes and can't be ignored. Don't expect to change a man after you get married. He is being too stubborn and he is getting away with it.

His anger is taking a toll on his relationship with Naira and frankly it is unfair of him to put her in such an awkward and difficult position. In public he is not very good in faking good relations with his parents. I mean common you don't want your parents at a sangeet function? I am surprised no one is questioning this. Are Singhania's ok with moving forward with this and giving away their daughter to someone who is so angry with his parents and displays his hate so openly. Should a girl about to get married have these negative memories of her wedding and her soon to be husbands behavior. As a parent I would be so embarrassed to have a son behave like that or think twice to allow my daughter to marry a guy with such hatred in his heart. What guarantee is there that he won't show those same colors to Naira one day. This negativity in the show really turns me off and I hope this issue gets resolved before the wedding. (but I don't think that will happen)

I am looking forward to the scenes where he shows some regret for his behavior and actions.
I think a parent really has to have a very big heart to accept this type of behavior.

Maine phele bhi kaha hai Karthik's ghussa is ice cream, aur Naira aag hai, ice cream ko melt karke rahegi.
Yeh bhi ignore nahi kiya ja sakta ka swarnish freezer ka kaam karte hai, unhe dekhte hi ice cream freeze ho jati hai, aur K ko ghussa ataa hai.

Wow. I would never have thought of such a comparison with ice cream. You deserve post of the day.
Maybe now they can show ice cream and fire dreams.

They used to have mahaepisodes. I wish that they show two or three of them and just get this wedding over with.

Well he has been estranged from his parents since he was around 7-8 years old. And assuming he is around 26-27 years old, the rage has been building up inside him for close to 20 years! That is a terribly long period of time! Imagine the magnitude of his hatred and hurt! His heart rules over his head. So from his point of view, of course, he doesn't want his parents at his wedding. Not just the wedding, he wants nothing to do with them altogether. Not saying whether that is right or wrong. Just thinking from his point of view.
As for Naira, she is his life partner. And he is sort of expecting her to see his point of view and be "on his side". Naira isn't really part of this whole mess. So that gives her the advantage to think rationally. So she doesn't immediately blame Swarnish. Also she has herself seen and experienced that they aren't as bad as Kartik makes them out to be.
Also if Swarnish were actually as bad as Kartik says, you wouldn't be saying this. Its only because the audience knows that there is a misunderstanding, we are judging Kartik for his anger.
I just feel you are judging Kartik too harshly.
But I do agree with you that it is taking a toll on their relationship and the part about being unfair to Naira.
As for the Singhanias not questioning anything, they have known Kartik long enough to know he is a good person and seen how much he loves their daughter.
And about him repenting his actions, I think we will eventually see that once the fog clears. He hates with his whole heart but also loves with his whole heart. He will eventually prove to be a very good son.

I agree Karthiks anger is something that had been building up within him for long... like how naira had a view of her mom on what she has seen same is for Karthik... and the seed's have been planted in their minds at a tender age.

Karthik seems to be ok with other family members talking with swarnish including his own sister yet he can't accept naira talking is he not putting too much pressure on her??

Love is always there but each time naira is punished... and yes all these small temper outbursts are raising red flags..

I think the first person to get worried about Karthiks relationship with swarnish would be naksh.. sensible bhaiyu.. who Is really concerned about his sister..

Actually I wanted an intense scene after nairas accident where Karthik actually repents his anger..

Aww janvi... such a cute analogy.. yes Karthik does melt like ice cream in front of aag...

Yet there are going to be problems cos of Naira wanting swarmish. . Obviously there should be cos otherwise the story would not move...:-)

I wasn't trying to be too harsh but I felt that Karthik was being to harsh with his parents. Though he has been hurt in his life his parents are suffering too. His parents are not happy either. What a disheartening feeling it must be for them. They have all the money and success in the world but he doesn't have love from his son who he loves very much.
