i get your point that its hard to believe she fell for him when she had other options. but even if he is 50 and might be unhappily married (publicly not separated).. he isn't second option..if one looks at people as second option, then its kinda sad how some people are unable to get married again, especially if they had a divorce, have kids and are past a certain age. women especially seem to face that stigma.

if srk and gauri have separated privately, then i dont think priyanka becomes any less independent, strong personality, degrades herself and her self respect by being with him. if they love each other they must have mutual trust, respect, understanding and patience to able to put up with one another and their whims. of course if the affair is real, then the whole srk and gauri pretentious marriage act is annoying, but maybe she is okay with it and understands his reasons behind it. at the end of the day everything usually tends to be justified in love.

life is rarely ever idealistic like the disney movies where one is with the most handsome, youngest, hottest man on the planet, who is perfect. a lot of times people tend to fall for someone they least expect and unless details are given... a lot of things are hard to judge superficially from the outside. i am in no ways glorifying the affair, but just considering the possibility if it is real, then the possible circumstances that led to it, which are of course all assumptions.
