What's up with Majmudar in Raees? (Spoiler)

Please help me understand something. Why does Majmudar make it so personal with raees? Did I miss something? I can understand that he wanted to catch and jailed raees during the first half because he's a criminal but why is it that he's so hell-bent wanted to kill raees?

that was a lil weird but then majmu knew if raees is taken to lock up he'd find a way out fo the nth time and majmudar wanted to clean Gujarat completely, so he puts everything on line , he knows there'd be consequences

He was ordered to fake encounter him

i liked majmudar ..if all officers were so sincere honest like him
tab no crimes would have gone unpunished..
it was unbearable to watch n digest that selling alcohol is no sin..
yes true bombs guns etc kills mass in one stroke..
so we do a ooh aah ouch..
bt selling alcohol is a bigger crime imo..no smaller than selling terrorism..
coz when a terrorist strikes ppl die..when alcohol is sold n bought humanity dies..
when ppl are addicted they need to have the money to buy their alcohol
n to buy that they take to more crimes ..alcohol is the root of many more
violent crimes n is responsible for the birth of criminals ..so i liked
majmudar wanting to finish off the alcohol seller..i liked him more than
raees..

But why kill? He was shown to be honest and sincere. By having the intention of killing Raees, he acts like Raees has done something to him personally.

You don't just kill someone 😕

According to me raees was a million times better person than he was! Majmudar was the villain!

He had orders from the higher authority..Raees brought the press so that he could not shoot him there and Aasiya Sadik and his son were safe
