BOIFA 2017 Planning Discussion Only

So BoIFAs are gaining momentum and slowly some acceptance on this forum.

After the recently concluded 2nd BoIFA, a few blessed souls have come forward to offer me help and bring their creative support into making it grander this year.

Therefore, I am opening a thread for the BoIFA planning team (who rivals bonding of "Hum Saath Saath Hain") to have discussion related to future events.

Only BoIFA team members are expected to participate here. Don't feel obligated to join us in the conversation. 😳

IM I thought this award show would NOT be biased like some others..If people here have to mock like every where else, I would prefer to be out..thanks and no offense😳

Can i be the anchor? In a true-to-BW awards tradition, I'll rip into the bad movies of the year (most likely going to be Panvati and Tiger Revital leke zinda hai). I can do 20 pages of ripping such that everyone will be like "SRK-Saif jodi FF hosting jodi who? Pffttt Raj (naam toh suna hoga) is the best😎"

Oh and congrats and a great job for all the hard-work & effort you put into that BOIFA thread, ImagineMe. Dint get a chance to write it there. Very nicely organised 👏 (kuch seekho J Pills! 😡)

Raj , this is BOIFA, there is just voting by esteemed jury and results announcement.
Like National Awards. It's not silly FF or Screen awards. No drama, no stars needed to sing and dance 😆 . I took long to understand the class of BOIFA. You can join in as PR !! Be nice to Kangna 😆

As RR said above, we are keeping the event "bash free" and it is transparent. The first two editions were a success because of that. Our plan is to keep it an inclusive event or else it will crash very soon.

Bias can come only from Voting members. I have seen this years voting and there were only a few biased members. AK doesn't have many fans on forum and still he won and RK did not even get nomination. Speaks a lot about unbiased attitude of members.
And since it's open ballot, people don't do naughty things like in forum polls .
So I think you should stay in the team to encourage good voting number and quality.

What exactly boifa team do ?? If members want to vote anyway they will vote without anyone's influence ..

Mini might be concerned if we are unintentionally encouraging bashing. WE ARE NOT.

RR, I think we have enough members in our PR team now. Let's keep ourselves close knit and especially where BoIFA is concerned, we keep things neutral (professional) and not encourage bashing. You're doing a great job in fielding questions and clarifying the intent. 👏 We can rercuit more people if needed towards the end of the year.

In the past, I did all the work in the background, therefore was able to successfully keep it "neutral" and bash free.

Let's keep the bash free spirit alive so we can maintain the growing respectability and participation of this event. Else, we will become obsolete very soon.

We should move to important topics such as logo design, artwork etc for future.

First it was only ONE person doing the planning.

A few like minded people are joining hands to plan, promote and make it more fun. That's it. We want to hit like a 80+ jury this year.

The core awards business remains the same like the first two years. Members are expected to vote without anyone's influence.

I hope to see you on the jury finally this year!
