IM let's try to make it GA this time..many members are silent on this forum but participate in other forums..hopefully they will vote too..Good idea??

3rd BOIFA To Do List

Make GA announcement for wider participation.
Open the voting period for 2 weeks from Jan 1 onwards (Avoid holiday season).
Active PR promotions starting December 1
Get an official logo, award statue/certificate design.
Get an announcement poster (like Oscars)
Plan a Red Carpet Event
Introduce BoIFA Honorary Award (Lifetime Achievement in Hindi Cinema... consider regional?)
Use movie Themed "minimalist" Posters ?
After Party Thread

Will keep it updated based on suggestions.

I was only joking about the ripping thing😭 I'm just too mischievous sometimes. No bashing or any of the sort will I encourage or participate in.🤗 Nice to see the civility of these awards. (again! take note Jit Pill😡).

Get an official logo, award statue/certificate design.

I'd love to make a logo and announcement poster. Can that be my job? Designing is fun! Not cut out for PR stuff .

Just throwing out ideas -

We should have our sticky thread with posters and past winners in hall of fame . Rather than waiting to recruit at end of year we can start mid way.

We can write an official funny but balanced newsletter each quarter called "Bollywood report card" with gentle reminder to vote for BOIFA.

Once we have a logo figured out... we can do a promotional release with a poster of winner/nominees of the first 2 BoIFAs.

I like your quarterly idea too.

I also thought of making a wikipedia page once to keep an archive of all the nominees and winners. Do we have to be some big shot to create a public page? 🤔

Another idea I had is to do a end of quarter BoIFA thread to showcase some great well received movies in the past quarter and leave a note "For Your Consideration"

Like imagine doing this for a Raees Kaabil or Rangoon this quarter...

This allows us to appreciate the movies and keep it fresh as we traverse through the year.

Only a few will end up getting nominated and actually win... but that doesn't mean the others weren't worthy. 👏

We want to promote cinematic appreciation... trophy or not.
