Someone once said that the cvs prefer Gauri over Kali. I didn't believe it at first but now I see. Kali has been written as a weak, nave, helpless and unlucky character. She has no backbone and can't even stand up for herself. She constantly keeps trusting Gauri despite all that she has done, and keeps getting let down. She will never learn nor stop putting herself on the lime for those who don't love or appreciate her. She can't even have a happy and successful marriage. Seems as if she will never get it, as seen where they are planning a 14 year leap.
I keep wondering if Simran can't put in a word or two about the storyline, and get them to change it and her character as well. For some reason, I feel glad that Yug is suffering and stuck in an unhappy marriage, because he was the one who threw Kali out of the house, refuse to believe & trust her countless times, chose and married Gauri over her (not to mention he always forgives Gauri for all her despicable crimes - rape, drugging, plotting murder, trying to kill baby Naina" - yet Kali always get thrown out for things she did not do). The old saying "you made your bed, so sleep in it" is quite applicable here. I feel unbothered to say that he deserves it.
I wouldn't mind seeing all GaYu's marital problems, if Kali is happy, refuses to bend backwards again, and has a great life and mentally stable (not a mad one like Nandu) husband.
P.S. I'm gonna watch the show until the end of the week. If nothing positive happens then I'm done with it for good.
