Veer immediately saluted in Maan's direction. Seeing that Yash and Arnav were shocked is putting it mildly they were stupefied. Pulling himself together Yash asked, "Veer tum Mr. Khurana ko kyun salute kar rahe ho?" (Veer why are you saluting Mr. Khurana?)
"Veer this is Mr. Maan Singh Khurana and Mr. Khurana, this is our younger brother ACP Udayveer." Arnav said looking at Veer's direction and Yash looked on. Meanwhile Maan signalled Veer to keep silent regards why he saluted Maan?
"Bhai-sa, maine Mr. Khurana ko nahi kintu unke peeche kadhe apne senior ko salute kiya thaa!" (Bhai-sa, I did not salute Mr. Khurana but my boss who was standing behind Mr. Khurana.)
Just then Geet joined them after freshening up."Theek hai, abb bahut raat ho gayi hai. Chalo hum sab ghar chalte hain. Once again, thank you Mr. Khurana for saving our sister's dignity and virtue." (Alright, its getting late, lets go home.) Yash said politely and firmly escorted Geet from there.
TWO DAYS LATER
Veer had just reached his office, when he was summoned by his boss. He was expecting this after his report of "Fire and Ice Club". On reaching DCP Shekhawat's office he was given a sealed order, surprising Veer. "Udayveer you are to go on a mission hence please report to IBI immediately."
Before leaving for IBI he called Rishabh and said,"Bhai-sa mujhe kuch dinno ke liye ek mission par jaana hai." (Bhai-sa, I'll be out on mission for few days!)
Location : INDIAN BUREAU OF INTELLIGENCE (IBI) (FICTITIOUS NAME!)
On reaching IBI, Veer finally opened the sealed envelope. Veer was Agent 008 and his name for the mission was "Tendua" (Panther) and his commanding officer was Agent 010 or "Babbar Sher" (Lion) whom he had to meet. Soon Veer was called, he knocked and on being given permission walked in. On entering he stopped near the desk and saluted "Agent 008 reporting for mission Sir!"
Hearing Veer's voice Commanding Officer (CO) looked up. It was difficult who was more shocked between the two gentlemen, but just then another knock was on the door and two other agents entered "Cheel" (Eagle) or Agent 005 and "Lomadi" (Vixen) or Agent 006. After 45 minutes the meeting was concluded. Agent 005,006 & 008 and were about leave when agent 010 said,"Lomadi, Cheel, Tendua and Babbar Sher will meet tomorrow at XYZ forest near Suraj Kund."
"YES SIR!" The three officers saluated agent 010. Just then Agent 010 said,"Agent 008 kindly wait there are few formalities I need to discuss with you." Once other agents left Agent 010 said, "Kindly sit down Agent 008, I have a personal thing I wish to discuss with you..."
TWO DAYS LATER
Location : RAJSINGHANIA CONSTRUCTIONS' (RC) CONFERENCE ROOM
Rishabh, Neel and Mr. Jadhav were present today but Ms. Singh was missing again, much to Maan's frustration. Rishabh and Neel were looking very tense but did not let their emotions come in way of professionalism.The meeting went off fine. The RC team and KC team broke for lunch. Maan was on his way to washroom when he heard Rishi and Neel arguing. "Neel yeh kaise ho sakta hai ki Veer Geet ka rishta humse bina pooche tai kar sakta hai?"(Neel how is this possible, that without asking us Veer fixed Geet's marriage alliance with his boss?)
"Haan bhai-sa, Veer ne hum sab ki rai liye bina kaise apne boss se Gudiya ka rishta pakka kar diya hai?"(Yes, bro, how could Veer fix Geet's marriage alliance with his boss without consulting anyone of us?) Neel also supported Rishi.
"Hum chhe bhaiyon ne yeh decide kiya thaa ki Gudiya ki shaadi hum chheon ki marzi se hogi toh woh akele Geet kaa rishta nahi karaa sakta." (We six brothers' had decided that Gudiya's marriage will be only be with the boy whom we all six approve off.)
"Bhai-sa, kya Yash, Arnav aur Sid ko iske baare mein patta hai?" (Bhai-sa, do Yash, Arnav and Sid know about this?)
"Patta nahi. Magar jald se jald mujhe hi ek ladka dhoondna hoga. Veer ka boss hai, toh shaayad Geet se umar mein bhi zyaada hoga. Chalo der ho rahi hai, abhi meeting ke liye chalte hain." (I don't know. But as soon as possible, I will have to select a boy. If its Veer's boss, he may even be much older than Geet. Come lets go its getting late for the meeting?)
"Bhai-sa, magar khaana?" (But lunch?)
"Tum ek kaam karo Mr. Khurana ne bhi abhi tak khaana nahi khaaya hoga, kyunki unki US ki conference call thee. Iss liye hum teeno ke liye khaana mere cabin mein order karo." (Listen you order some food for three of us in the cabin as Mr. Khurana must have also not eaten as he was on conference call with his US company.) Rishabh and Neel walked in the direction where Maan was standing. Maan quickly slipped into the washroom before both brothers could discover his presence! But Maan was now relaxed and happy that the men he had so far seen with Geet were only her brothers not her boyfriends!
Location: GEET's ROOM
Geet's room was very large with attached covered balcony. It brightly and traditionally decorated. In the centre of the room was a traditional wooden bed,
and one side a small sofa with brass diyas hanging next to it.
In the attached covered balcony, a sofa in form of a swingwith some potted plants.
The walls were filled with few Tanjore paintings and posters of famous Bharatnatyam dancers.
On her bed Geet was lying on her stomach and crying when her close friend cum confiderante 28yrs. old Gauri arrived. Seeing Geet's state she said, "Kya baat hai baccha? Tum ro kyun rahi ho?" (What's wrong my dear? Why are you crying?)
"Mai kya karun, Didi? Mere chhe bhai mujhse itna pyaar karte hain ki woh sab mere liye apni-apni pasand kaa ladka dhoond rahe hain. Sid bhai-sa ne apni tehara ek "actor" dhoonda hoga jo acting ki siwaiye aur kuch nahi jaanta hoga. Yash bhai-sa ne mere liye ek "chef" dhoonda hoga jo siwaiye recipes ke, temperature of oven, yaa galat ingredients ek recipe mein daala to kya hota hai etc. ke siwaiye aur kissi cheez ke baare mein baat nahi karega. Aur abb Veer bhai-sa ne apne boss se mera rishta pakka kar diya. "Veer bhai-sa ke boss" matlab, kumse kam umar mein mere se 15 saal bade honge kyunki Veer bhai-sa hi mere se 8 saal bade hain. Chahe mujhe ladkein acche lage yaa acche naa lage magar mai kaise unn mein se kissi ek ko chunnu? Kyunki maine jisko bhi chunna, baaki mere paanchon bhaiyon ka dil tooth jaayegaa! Aur yeh mai sehan nahi kar sakti."(What can I do Didi? My six brothers love me immensely and all six are choosing a boy for me of their choice for my marriage. Sid bhai-sa must have choosen for me an "actor" like himself who can only talk and think about acting nothing else ! Yash bhai-sa must have choosen a "chef" for me who is only interested in explaining about recipes, temperature setting of an oven, or what happens if ingredients in a recipe are measured wrong etc. nothing else. Now Veer bhai-sa has fixed my marriage alliance with his boss. Veer bhai-sa's boss means he will be at least 15yrs. elder than me because Veer bhai-sa is at least 8 years elder to me. It is immaterial which boy I like and which I don't like! As whomever I choose, the other five brothers of mine will be disheartened. I cannot see anyone of them hurt or upset!) Geet again started crying.
"Tum chinta matt karo Gudiya, mai baat karti hoon." (You don't worry Gudiya! I'll talk to them.)
"Aap kya baat karengi Didi. Neel bhai-sa se aap apne dil ki toh baat kar nahi payeen, 8 saal ho gaye hain. Maine aapko "Bhabhi" kehne ki umeed hi chod di!" (You will talk to them? You cannot confess your own feelings to Neel bhai-sa for past eight years. I have now given up hope of ever calling you "Bhabhi"!) Geet hugged Gauri from the waist and started crying hysterically now.
Just then Neel entered the room to see Geet crying. Seeing Gauri there Neel burst on her, "Mahodiya aap jab bhi yahaan padharti hain humari behan ko humesha kasht pauhchanti hain. Kripya yahaan se prasthaan kijiye!!" (Madam, whenever you arrive here, you only cause my Gudiya stress. Kindly depart!)
"KYUN?? Hum yahaan se tab tak prasthaan nahi karenge jab tak Geet nahi kehti. Aur aap ko kadaapi gyaat bhi hai ki aap chhe bhaiyon ke nirmam vyohaar ke kaaran Gudiya ko kitna kasht hai!" (WHY?? I will only depart when Gudiya wants me to. Do you even know that by you six brothers' inflexible behaviour how much Gudiya is traumatized!) Gauri answered in anger.
"NIRMAM VYOHAAR? AUR HUM? YEH KYA KEH RAHI HO, GAURI?" (Inflexible behaviour? By us? What are you saying Gauri?) Rishi was shocked, who had just come in the room to check on Geet.
