I was really disappointed when tej taunted pinky how his son does not know who is his wife and who is the mother of his child??? shivaay was quite and anika just lowered her eyes, I remembered napstermonster made a wonderful post on that, anika should not forget that incident too, tej's bitter words were very valid and important.

Didn't want to comment but then decided otherwise. I always hear that Anika was an orphan n never got love, so do we want to say that Sahil's parents were monsters who never loved her? Sahil is only 6 years old n Anika is in mid twenties so even if Sahil's parents died the day he was born, she was with them her entire childhood getting parental affection

Although I don't blame her for now as he is giving her hints of love but how could she forget the atrocities, he had lost her self respect the day she was heading towards the dias while Shivaaye was announcing his wife. And people come on she isn't some teenager who would be impressed by such cheesy actions.

Saying that I don't think seperation would happen as post Daksh's abducting her he had already fallen for her

... and we have Part 2 of the same track coming with the Award Ceremony now. This time Pappu either redeems himself or Annika gets the 'rose tinted glasses' rudely snatched off her face by Tia. As I said if the second happens then the 'old Annika' will dust off the 'pixie dust' and spit out the 'love potion' and walk out if Gul keeps her true to her character.

No she isn't but to be a little less hard on this girl - it is after all her first time experiencing love and having that love awakened and reciprocated by the man she is falling in love with. You don't have to be a teenager to be foolish where love is concerned.

True. Separation is not as important as him facing his wrongs and making it right. If they separate and he does not repent his disgusting actions from the day of the wedding then the separation track is futile.
He has to not only acknowledge that he loves her but also that he disrespected her the day he man handled and threatened her. A proper honorable proposal and wedding with full declaration as his wife is what is needed from his end as well.

Falling for her and apologizing for his actions are not one and the same. I don't care about the MU - that is his personal view on how relationships should be but I do have the issue of the man handling that I would like him to apologize for whether she asks for it or not.
If he has truly fallen for her he will regret his hurtful actions and make it right by confronting his wrongs and not brushing it under the carpet

Yes agree! Gul is a regressive woman and she enjoys showing her female
leads at the mercy of men. She likes to show that no matter how badly a man treats you, the next day you will forgive and forget. In her last long running show she even showed the hero slap the heroine. He got bashed for it, but plenty of people defended him. So until people defend these actions and don't care that they show men abuse women and STILL be accepted and loved by them, things will never change.

I once said that Gul likes to glorify abuse against females, and likes to romantisise it. She won't stop till people think it's romantic. I saw comments here that Annika's love is selfless. She is an orphan etc? Selfless love does not mean asking for your personal insult every time, and putting up with it. Being an orphan does not mean you will let go of your self respect totally to gain a family? Non of those justify the way Annika is acting after so many insults! It's called asking for it!

As much as it is her uncontrollable feelings for Shivaay, I also feel that to Anika this marriage is important because it is giving her everything that she has ever craved for - A family, a sense of belonging, a sense of identity, some inexplicable bonds etc. It is not just the fact that she has this intense feeling for Shivaay. It is all of these other things also that kind of make her mind muffled at the moment.
