12th January ll Thursday ll Episode WU

Nandini is walking in the corridors. She is wiping her tears. She hears the chiming of someone's anklet and looks around to find the source. She finds the source to be her step mother (Badi Maa) who has draped herself in a blanket and going somewhere chhup-chhupa ke. Nandini follows her quietly. Badi Maa opens a secret door (Same from previous week) and enters a room. Nandini comes and stands in front of the same door but she can't seem to find a way to open it. She speaks to herself, "Where has Badi Maa disappeared suddenly, I saw her coming in this direction only."

In next scene, Helena is alone in her room. She looks hurt and angry. She is blabbering to herself about Chandra and Nandini's relationship. She is hurt because even in a sozzled state, Chandra was only thinking about Nandini. She makes a promise to herself that she'll never let Chandini come close to each other.

Badi Maa comes back to her room. Nandini is already there, waiting for her. Nandini asks her that where was she going...that too this late in the night. Badi Maa lies and tells her that she was going to meet a spy of Nand. She says that the spy comes and gives her information about Nand. Nandini gets excited (and happy) and asks her about her father Nand and his well being. Badi Maa says that she couldn't meet that spy because of Chandra's soldier. She says that she worries about her father a lot. Nandini consoles her saying that it's alright and now they have someone who can give them information about Nand. They both hug. Badi Maa sighs in relief and thinks to herself that it's good that Nandini didn't find the truth.

Next day, Nandini and Durdhara are creating flower necklaces for Pooja. Durdhara asks Nandini, "You look in bad shape. Didn't you sleep the entire night?" Helena barges in and says that she also didn't get to sleep the entire night because of Chandra. Helena starts boasting about the night that she didn't even had with Chandra. Nandini accidently pricks her finger with a needle while listening to Helena.

In next scene, Chandra is sitting on his throne. Chanakya advices him to increase the security around the palace because of Nand. A soldier comes and informs Chandra that the King of Pratisthan state has arrived and is requesting a meeting with Chandra. Chandra orders him to bring the King to him with respect. Chandra asks Chanakya the reason behind this unexpected arrival of this King of Pratisthan. Chanakya says that this King is very respected among other states too. His state is facing feminine and that's the reason why he wants to meet Chandra. Chandra tells Chanakya to organise a ceremony in King of Pratisthan's favour.

The scene from earlier continues. Durdhara is holding Nandini's hand and trying to ease her pain. Helena taunts Nandini saying that she can understand the pain Nandini must be feeling. A servant girl comes and informs them that Chandra is holding a ceremony for King of Pratisthan and wants Helena to organise it. Helena smirks and walks away.

Rajmata Moora enters the ceremony function with Helena, Durdhara, Nandina and Chaya. Chandra introduces everyone to the new King except for Nandini. Nandini thinks to herself, "Does Chandra hate me so much that he didn't consider it relevant to introduce me to the guests." Helena looks very happy with this rude behaviour of Chandra. But, Moora being the kind hearted saasu maa she is, steps forward & introduces Nandini on Chandra's behalf.

Chandra gives assurance to the other King that Magadh will help him and his state. He tells Helena to take proper care of the new guests. He sees Chaya and walks towards her and tells her to take proper care of herself. Chaya tells him that he and Maley cares so much about her. She tells him that he was right when he decided to marry her to Maley as nobody could've been a better husband to her than Maley.

Chaya is feeling some ache in her stomach. When Nandini asks her that what has happened to her, she lies (as she doesn't want her to take faaltu ka tension) and says that she just wants to rest. Chaya goes to Maley and tells her that she is going her room to take some rest. Maley shows fake concern and tells her to take care of herself. Nandini is looking at them (out of concern for Chaya) and Chandra is looking at Nandini. He doesn't look happy at all. He thinks Nandini is watching Maleyketu.

Durdhara tells Nandini that she loves these types of ceremonies. Nandini excuses herself and tries to search for Chaya. Nandini encounters Maley. Both, Chandra and Helena are looking at them. Nandini tells Maley to stop misbehaving with her or else she will tell Chandra the truth about him. Maley challenges her to do so. He says that Chandra doesn't trust Nandini and he won't believe a word she says. Maley walks away. He says that Nandini is foolish as she is unable to understand that Chandra hates her. Chandra is fuming in anger, looking at them. He didn't hear their conversation but still believed the worse about Nandini. Nandini has tears in her eyes. Moora comes and asks her that what has happened to her. She lies and tells Moora that she is having a headache and wants to rest.

Helena tells Chandra to do something about Nandini and her fascination for Maley. She says that she doesn't want Chaya to know about this.

Nandini is sleeping on her bed. Suddenly, she wakes up with a jolt. She has this weird hypnotic expression on her face. She walks outside in the corridor and starts smoking some kind of cigar. Moora sees her and thinks to herself, "When does Nandini started smoking dhumari?"

Next day, Durdhara is putting a pillow over her stomach to see how she will look with a swollen belly. Chandra sees her doing this and teases her. He says that he hopes that his son will be like him and not a coward like Durdhara. Durdhara says that she is not a coward. Chandra says that doesn't she get scared whenever Helena is around. He keeps on teasing her. Helena enters the room. Durdhara gives a false excuse and runs away. Helena asks Chandra if he is feeling alright. She says that she didn't like seeing Nandini and Maley together and she knows that Chandra didn't like it too. She further tells him that she has starting loving him too much. He says that, "You are my wife. I don't mind your scratches." Nandini is passing by their room and hears this. Tears starts rolling out of her eyes.

PRECAP: Chandra and Nandini are having a confrontation. Nandini says him, "This is true. I love Maley." She tries to walk away but Chandra grabs her arm and says, "Thank you for accepting the truth. If you love Maleyketu then leave this palace." Nandini says, "Okay! I'll go." Chandra says, "I want you to leave this palace by tonight."
