God will give the child to the person who has genuine faith but this child will prove to be the biggest downfall of the person who has always made a mockery of faith (courtesy prenup)

Faith is also founded on certain principles! Example, a thief may have faith that he can rob a bank... it may work temporarily but in the long run will be found out! It has to be founded on two pillars - love of GOD and love of others. If either of the two is missing, faith is hollow. Ishwari, due to her rough youth, abandoned love for others and only held on to love for GOD. Dev did not even know a thing about love and hence never loved GOD. Sona genuinely loves others as well as GOD. Sona"s faith will eventually pay off in the long run.
Herein lies the difference. The foundation on which Ishwari's faith stands is on two uneven pillars, a disaster for any edifice!
For Dev, it hardly matters as he has never confessed to faith. Does things by his own power!
