The Green Snake of Jealousy Stings

The recent episode marked the entry of the green snake of jealousy in the minds of Chandra and Nandini. Both of them are feeling uncomfortable and also ignored when they find that the other has someone more important than them in their lives. Though they are not so aware of their own feelings for each other, they do care and want to be that special person in each other's lives.

Did you see how he reacted when she came with Pustak y'day when he was with Helena ? He is so disturbed by her but Helena has corrupted his mind. His expressions were of an unbelievable out of world kind. It is a very complex expression to give as I feel he has not fallen in love with her still but heavily attracted to her . He cannot bear the idea that SHE is longing for a different man. It is not just about his wife thinking of another man.

I do not know why he said to helena to stay back in his room. Was he expecting that it will irritate Nandini ?!! 😆 The guy is l osing balance. Look at his all roundedness in all affairs of State and his thinking process in dealing with Praja issues. He never falters. With Nandini, his mind stops working and only the heart decides his behaviour. Fascinating. Direction and Editing have improved greatly.

I only wish they do not bring a twin who is going to slap every damn person in Mahal 😭. Classic EKTA Style. 😡

Lovely post Shailaja. Both have sort of come to terms with the fact that they can't harbour vengeful feelings for each other. Both have softened towards each other, and so expectations from each other are slowly crawling into the picture. Quite amusing to see a usually level-headed Chandra succumbing to Helena's words. I wonder why he still believes Nandini still loves Malay. If she did, she wouldn't have saved him. Her loyalties have changed, and it is very obvious. But I guess possessiveness and jealousy blinds a person's judgement.

What they feel for each other is not exactly love at this moment. But they can't even think that thy have no place in the other's mind, heart and soul. While Chandra feels, how could Nandini still harbor some feeling for a married Malaykethu despite marrying to the Magadh King who helped her to study and give exams. How could she still love Malaykethu despite him revealing her father's whereabouts to save his skin and in what way he is better than Chandra?

For Nandini, when she is doing everything in her power to keep their relationship cordial in front of his family despite him irritating her and despite him being the killer of her brothers and despite him waiting to kill her father, despite his mother brought the marriage proposal, how could he say she is not his wife. Despite her conveying the message about Malayketu's evilness, how could he think she loves Malaykethu even after marrying Chandra. How could he think so low about her while she opposed his plans to get his sister married to Malay was a bad idea, how did he think that she wanted to marry him.

But yes, the green snake has made its grand entry stealthily and it will engulf both soon and we can have loads of entertainment. Off course we can see jealous Helena with a capital J on seeing them together even if it will be at loggerheads.

See - the point is serial has to thrive and that too in good TRPs. So some forced MUs are built-in. But one thing is if you are attracted to someone, there is a greater chance to believe bad things about that person. We have to only keep this logic. 😆 Otherwise, an extremely intelligent, level-headed, grounded and rational Emperor cannot be taken for a ride like this . 😆

For me , I am enjoying RT's antics whichever Avatar. The way he walks, looks, uses his body to convey the message that he is a monarch every inch is awesome.

yes, it so true that people will go bunkers when it coms to believe the worst on the person whom they believe as the idol of virtue. Whether Chandra agrees openly or not, he has accepted Nandini as his wife and that is what bothers him to think his wife still thinks of someone else while he is doing so much for her. he has lied, he had fought with the fellow student and he even eloped with her to Gurukul without informing his family & Guru. He had verbally fought with his Guru to get her education and after that, how could she still think of someone else? Its would have been Ok for him if she doesn't like or love him but she liking someone else that too Malayakethu(though he is family now, he was his opponent once)?

Even for Nandini, it was Ok if he hates her & also want to spend all his time with Helena & Durdhara but how can he declare her as not his wife? Had he not married her forcefully by having her brother on sword point? Has she not proved herself loyal to him by changing their return path which would have given her father a chance kill Chandra? had she not used the exclusive medicine which her father had kept as secret to save his life? What more she require to show that she doesn't hate him and when she has clearly told that Malaykethu is plotting against him, how could he still think she loves Malay? If that was the case, why she would have gone to him with complaint?
