Why do you think Meghna wore her own lehenga for the ceremony? Do you agree with her choice
Was it about her swabhimaan or her abhimaan? The line between the two is very, very thin.

I liked that she wore that lehenga but did not like that she did not have the courage to tell anyone (not even her mother) before walking into the venue. I am sure she did not even take Naina in to confidence and probably overruled any suggestion that Naina may have given her. It felt like she did it more to show everyone than for herself/her pride.

And why do you think so that it was her abhimaan & not swabhimaan
Infact it was neither about abhimaan or swabhimaan but about old relation over new relation.
She did wear her mom's lehnga cos since childhood many memories of her were attached with that lehnga.
In my opinion Meghna did right.
If suppose tomarrow my in laws force me to make a choice between Old & new relation and i will definitly choose Old relation.
Sandhya didn't give her a chance to explain anything.
And come on this is drama itna toh suspence banta hain.
She made her own way cos Sharda's words gave her strength.

Soni and Karaali.
Did you both notice how everyone's face fell when Meghna arrived and her sheepish look.??

I felt Meghna should have at least kept the dupatta from her in laws lehenga.

I understand the concept of swabhimaan (self respect) but it shouldn't come at an expense of someone else. In this case Sharda's. Did Meghna think for a moment that what the consequences would be? I know because we saw that Sandhya was arrogant and disrespectful. Meghna did the same. Where is the difference??

I don't think your issues should be aired out for the world to see. Solve it diplomatically. That's what I expected from Meghna. Like use both lehenga's and don't let anyone down. She keeps talking about her mom's swabhimaan but she herself made the situation so that Sharda couldn't meet Sandhya's gaze.

This incident is a reminder that Meghna is not going to react well to certain things.

Makes for interesting TV that's for sure!!

@Enigma - I don't think it was abhimaan either but she did want to give it back to them. I can't blame her for that as Sandhya was totally obnoxious. Suspense is OK for the audience - but it was not nice how she put her mother in a spot.

@Namita - I think she was motivated by revenge and not swabhimaan. She should have at least discussed with her mother. She could have found a diplomatic way of resolving the issue, instead of throwing it up in everyone's face.

It's the letting her mom down that's bothering me. Like I said, she keeps talking about her mom's swabhimaan but she was the reason for the disrespect today.

I loved that she possess the strength to give it back, but the way it was done wasn't good. It came off vindictive!! We know she isn't vindictive.

As I said - I liked that she wore the lehenga of her choice but not how she did it.

Well said Namita. I feel Meghna is stubborn. Things have to be the way she wants them to be and that is it. There is no adjustment. She didn't express her sentiments about the lehenga she wanted to wear even to Kunal (not that he would do anything - he just toes the line but at least she could have tried if her feelings were so strong.) But with a weak Kunal and a stubborn Meghna, it doesn't signal a healthy marriage.
