Choice of lehenga - Page 2

I feel she should have at least respected her in-laws choice by wearing a piece from their collection. We all know her mother's swabhimaan is everything but what about her future husband/in-laws?? I thought she was going to wear both as i saw it on the forum.

Infact it was neither about abhimaan or swabhimaan but about old relation over new relation.
She did wear her mom's lehnga cos since childhood many memories of her were attached with that lehnga.
In my opinion Meghna did right.
If suppose tomarrow my in laws force me to make a choice between Old & new relation and i will definitly choose Old relation.
Sandhya didn't give her a chance to explain anything.
And come on this is drama itna toh suspence banta hain.
She made her own way cos Sharda's words gave her strength.

All of us here applaud her for her choice but the way she did it wasn't right. When new relationships are formed, balance is the key.

most likely swabhimaan since the spokesperson taunted about meghna's choice being downmarket & all...since her mom made it for her, i think she felt irked about it...now how she handles future rituals is yet to see

In marriage both parties have to make some adjustments...Chauhan parivaar agreed for this marriage without thinking of status...But meghna disrespected her inlaws..I respect her swaabhimaan and all.but she should balance both the relations..

I love Meghna but did you all notice that Sharda couldn't hold Sandhya's gaze. That's what's bothering me. She was irked for sure and Sandhya was very rude. But Meghna was just as rude.

That's true. NK and Sandhya aren't nice people. I suppose the execution should have been better. That being said the elders are going to get a talking to. That's not right.
Meghna kinda sealed the deal that her upbringing isn't great just like NK and Sandhya think. We viewers know it's not true but that's what her father-law is going to think.
Those two are going to be at loggerheads. Would be interesting to see what Kunal does.

Agreed with various POVs here about decision being right but not the execution. It's Meghan's sagai, she can wear whatever she deems right esp something which hold sentimental value for her - like her mother's bridal dress. BUT she could have been assertive earlier when Sandhya was shoving her choice on her.
