Hello Guys this is my second piece of writing on the Jodha Akbar Forums. Please check out my other piece of writing Akdha FF Jealousy it's about Akdha's love journey, I update once or sometimes more a week.
* STARTS FROM CHILDHOOD THEN CHANGES AND THEY LOOK THE SAME DON'T TAMPER WITH THE LOOKS*
The most powerful Maharaja in Rajputana, Maharaja Bharmal no doubt ,the Maharaja of the prosperous state Amer which was huge. In Amer the Gaungur Festival was approaching, and Raja Bharmal thought it would be a wise choice for him and his praja to invite over the Badshah Hamayun and his Family over in the name of peace. Bharmal sent out invitations all over Rajputana and into Agra, and he remembered to mention that the Mughal's were coming. Most Rajvanshi's adored the idea of peace but hated the Idea of bowing their heads, their ancestors had taught them that peacekeeping was a Honourable deed not bowing down your head so all the states except Bhanpur agreed to make peace.
Bhanpur kept huge secrets locked away in their palace. Maharani Manorma and Raja Rajendra wanted their only son and heir, Rajkumar Arvind to marry Amer's only Rajkumari Jodha Bai, even at the mere age of 15 she was a sight to look at. And with her proposal at hand they wanted to become more powerful and having a sasur like Maharaja Bharmal, what was the worry. So in the hopes of impression they started their journey, unknown that the Mughal's would be already there.
Amer welcomed Badshah Hamayun and his khaas begums grandly, he also had bout his heir Shezaade Jalal and other son Shezaade Mirza on the trip so they could see Amer and get along with Amers 3 princes, Vijay, Ajay and Vikram. He sadly left behind his daughter because of her flu but he knew that Amer's only shezaadi had tons of friends and left behind his Jalal's wife or more like friend Ruqaiyaa behind, but he couldn't forget his dearest sister Gulbadan Begum.
Some Rajvanshi's of the neighbouring states had also arrived and were welcomed, and to their greatest shocks the Mughal's were kind, and they had a lot in common except that Badshah Hamayun wanted to give up the throne to Jalal as soon as he turned 18 which was in just 2 years. Mainavati and Hamida became quick friends and asked all the Rajvanshi and Mughal royal ladies to join her in on of the bagh's to talk about fashion affairs which all of them enjoyed.
But a question remained unanswered where was Jodha, and her parents were sick of asking the bhandi's to bring her. Jalal and Mirza were getting bored listening to politics talk which was happening, so they quickly sneaked out into the garden just beside where the ladies where sitting. Jalal was so astonished at the decorations and the beautiful aroma of bonding in the whole of Amer, it felt like a dream. He and Mirza roamed the gardens and went inside the huge Marble palace. But he found one thing amusing when they entered they found a huge portrait of the Amer Family. It was beautiful, Maharaja Bharmal and Maharani Mainavati sitting on a plush thorne, The 3 princes of Amer, Vikram 22, Vijay 20, Ajay 19 standing behind the throne with grins on there faces and the elder 2 had their wives beside them filled with zeverat and one of them whom he recognized as Rajkumar Vikram's son, Maan Singh standing upfront infront of his grand parents. But one women caught his attention, she was standing with a pure look and wide grim sitting on the armrest of the thorne beside her mother. Ya Khuda he thought, she was the epitome of beauty the most beautiful women he had ever seen. But he was broken out of his staring session with Mirza snapping and clapping his fingers right infront of his beautiful eyes.
" What happened, Bhaijaan, you look like you have seen Amer's shezaadi Jodha Bai." Mirza teased with his dimpled grin.
" Jodha... ." Jalal repeated memerized.
" Don't act like you haven't heard of her, Registan Ka Gulab hai voh, khuda neh usse fursat se bannaya hai." Mirza tried to put sense without going goo goo himself.
" How old is she?" Jalal questioned still looking intensely at the photo.
" 15." Mirza replied turning Jalal around so they could walk into the halls.
" I want to be left alone Mirza." Jalal told him still stuck in dreamland, Mirza said his goodbyes and left Jalal wandering.
He then gazed at a girl with long black tresses sittinf on a pond side raging at a bhandi.
" This is so not fair Moti, all and all of my royal friends are arriving tomorrow, and only Princes Jaimal and Prince Adiraj are here today and that to stuck in a political meeting. I will not listen to Ma sa I will not go to her and sit with the Royal Ladies." Jodha ranted.
" Par Jodha." Moti tried to reason.
JODHA. That name made Jalal jump and race towards the pond side and sit beside the fiery princess.
" This much anger isn't good for health, shezaadi." Jalal told her dipping his feet into the water just like her. She turned her body towards and and her gold jewlerries tinkled.
" Do I know you?" she questioned with her perfect eyebrows arched.
" Shezaade Jalal, Mughal's upcoming Shenshah." Jalal said with Pride." Will you become my friend." he said giving his arm foreward to Jodha helping her up.
" Friends." Jodha replied drieing her feet and putting on her shoes and then they started on a stroll.
Both were unknown to the fact that this friendship would be the start to a lovestory that would be written down in history in golden words.
3 YEARS LATER
3 years had past but Jalal and Jodha's friendship only got strong and the bond between Amer and Agra tightened. Jalal's sister Bakshi Bano married Rajkumar Ajay and converted to Hinduism.
Jalal was crowned Shenshah and was named Akbar because of his Kindness. He was known as one of the best sword fighters in Hindustan. Jodha grew up to become only more beautiful and exotic everyday. She became to be known as her previous title Registan ka Gulab and Beauty Queen of Hindustan. Jalal's body tensed with jealousy and possessiveness whenever he heard someone praise her beauty. Jalal had many begums most as alliances to gain states. Jalal's parents very well knew his love for her, because whenever he heard her name his eyes lit up and filled with rage and the tight grip on his shamsheer when another man praised her.
Hamida and Hamyun with Jalal traveled to Amer in the hand of Jodha, angering Bhanpur but Bharmal chose Jalal instead of Arvind because he knew Jodha and Jalal's relationship.
The Wedding was a grand one and why wouldn't it be, it was Amer's only rajkumari's vivaah.
Jodha became Jalal's one and only love his dil. All misunderstanding stood there way but they stood stronger and much more deeper in love then before angering Ruqaiyaa. But she ahd got to know her aukad, a friend of Jalal's.
Jodha received many titles, Marium Uz Zamani, Malika E Hind, Wali Nimat Begum, Khaas Begum and much more. No matter how many centeries passed the Love story of Jodha aur Akbar would always be alive in the hearts of people. People would 1 day take vows in their name
