I agree. In fact, even Bani's top 5 pick is really close to what contestants are considered likely to be the top 5 by the audience. Yet these people were laughing about it and mocking her. Manu himself doesn't want Mona and Nitibha in the race. None of them want Om and they'd be fools to think Om will be in top 5 after Salman made Manveer tie a cloth around his mouth. So her answer was very smart considering she has no clue as to how they are all being perceived outside.

Also, Manu, Manveer & Nitibha had discussed how Bani is likely a winner and there have been articles published on this discussion of theirs. So I find it a little hypocritical of them to laugh at Bani when she says she can win. And then for Manveer to say that Bani & Gaurav will be the first to be evicted is a sign of how clueless he is. So just because his idea of top 5 doesn't match Bani's doesn't mean she was being dishonest.

The real thing is they didn't understand the task I guess. I think they answered what they think. So they were honest. They may be wrong but were honest. If Bani didn't take her name then that would have been dishonest. Everyone thinks they can win. Agr ghuma pheera k answer dete toh log itna gussa nhi hote. They are dissatisfied.
