@ yyy - Let's agree to disagree here. But just let me conclude here saying 1 thing - Power, when used upon wrong people like Rithwik, Sona, Bijoy, does not look sexy like it looks when he uses it with Aayan like people. When Dev tries to bribe a doctor or a driver or shouts at his secretary or manipulates his own family members like Sona or uses against Rithwik, it does not look sexy at all. He falls into the eyes of good people each time he does so.

Being drunk in power is not good for long term. Dev's behaviour to almost everyone around him almost gives the same vibe. It wont be far enough to see Dev putting a person like Bijoy behind the bars by the speed he is going. Hope he is stopped at the right moment before he is drunk beyond recovery.

Also by showing what 'more' the GREAT Dev Dixit could do in such scenario and how 'kind' he is to let go off Bijoy for not retorting back, it's like we are comparing ourselves to the worst of the lot to prove ourselves better. Does it really work that way in real life ?😊

Well I agree let's agree to disagree because I cannot understand protector concept nor can justify someone raising hand on adults .

Every time coming up with the same argument when someone highlights Dev's positive side doesn't work either .Just because you call someone human doesn't mean we are comparing him with hardcore criminal and certifying him based on the comparison .

having same set of rules for each character is important .There is nothing like showing off your powers in putting Bijoy behind bars ..as per the logic here Dev deserves to be in jail for creating fake reports then why should Bijoy not be behind bars for assaulting someone ? Where is the question of power here ..power would come into picture if Bijoy is accused of something he never did ...

Since we believe every mistake has to be corrected by getting physical and by shouting in public then a person using his powers for his benefit should not be questioned either

well the public humiliation that Bijoy caused now as he was angry and heart broken as his daughter is hurt once again by the same person is nothing when compare to the public humiliation that Dev caused during Sona's date with Rithwick in the restaurant.

Dev volunteered to call bijoy as baba... bijoy never asked him...lets not forget Dev is still in probation period when Bijoy is concerned.. and Dev has not done anything significant to actually prove himself that he will not hurt sona again in future.. He accepted him only for Sona otherwise he would never have said yes to this marriage.

All in all,,,.. Dev did wrong...Bijoy got to know the news and held his collar... nothing wrong in this... Dev being the person who has lied... he would understand that he deserved it.

Regarding the first case ,Dev went to bail him out and was ready to take him home and explain him but it was Vicky who misbehaved with a lady officer on duty .So he left him where he deserved to be and decided not to bail him out .Yes Dev's move was not appreciated by Ishwari and Sonakshi too ..he was not praised for handling the situation the way he did

I am not blaming Bijoy for his anger as I can see how protective he is of his daughter but neither I am not going to applaud him for behaving the the way he behaved I would not call his behavior as right and call him as a model father .I understand his reaction but I don't support his behavior

If Bose had no expectations from Dev then they would feel hurt when he called Asha as Aunty .He would not play Bhatija drama in front of others .Even if we assume they don't expect him to call Baba but they have said he is like a son in past .If they haven't then they are hypocrites for expecting Ishwari to treat Sona as daughter but not doing the same for Dev .If he agrees for his marriage for his daughter then he better respect his decision .Its like Ishwari saying I agreed to this marriage for my son and Sona hasn't done anything to win my trust and love so I can treat her the way I want .If he is unhappy with his SIL then talk to him about your concerns instead of taunting him .

Asha has always been kind to Dev ...and Bijoy reacted because Dev hurt his wife...just the same way Dev behaved when ranveer called sona bewakoof... ppl get protective for their near and dear... So I am totally Ok with that impulsive action of Bijoy holding Dev's color and questioning him infront of his house... but not ok with the way Dev got aayan arrested under wrong charges ... he should have reported to police abot blackmain and cheating and got him arrested... still cant appreciate the way he banged his head and got him arrested under wrong charges... that was a calculated move.

I personally dislike people who create scene in public and discuss their personal issues .For me it like giving others a free entertainment .Later issue will be resolved but the drama will remain in people's mind .I cannot support Bijoy nor Ishwari for their OTT reactions they are giving .

Hmm Ayan deserved it .If Dev had complained him about blackmailing and cheating then a person like Ayan would escape for lack of proof ..Ayan was not a straightforward guy ..he played enough games with Dixit family so I won't sympathize with him .He not only cheated his family and a gal but was ready to blackmail to marry the girl for money .No sympathizes for a loser like him

I think they are just re enforcing the fact that where devs family is concerned he can go to any lengths to protect them. So today trying to put away ayan with a bigger charge is in character.

As for bijoy we already know that he's overprotective where sona is concerned. Also his character is loud & unapologetic one. He cares for his family & just like dev makes no bones about it. They both use methods which are not palatable but we can only excuse it as love

I feel what Bose did was right. Any father will get angry on his son-in law if he hurts the daughter, that too playing with the emotions. In the segment he his only holding the collar and Asha stops him. So, no problem.
