No offense to Maya here...But I feel she has done a criminal offence..May be she would have killed /or reason behind her mother's abortion as she holds this obsession from birth...OCD and is my guess with bipolar mood disorder..she can't be schizophrenic as that is the different entity.I sense people in this forum are trying to make Maya a victim., but I personally feel that won't be an interesting track...I wanted her to have a mental disorder that was aggravated by ashwin, this is what I wanted to see..as I always feel Maya is manipulative and tries to potray as someone which she is not ---- this is her conscious behaviour, so the word manipulation goes perfect when she is around arjun..But when she yelled at jhaanvi and then begging her goes hand in hand with her mental disorder..

@Sindhu - I'm glad Maya is written a way that you're compelled towards her and do emphatize with her pain. If someone is damaged or flawed, there should be a reason and a past behind it. Antagonist with no reason to be grey (or evil if we're to talk about villains) lack depth and are just evil for the heck of it is not something I'd want to invest myself into. I wouldn't care less if they live or die and in most cases, I'd want the protagonist to defeat them as...good always triumphs evil.

Very well written again. Yes right now there's two lingering questions we have after watching yesterday's episode:- 1. Maya's sach...2. The reason behind ashwin's ruthless behaviour towards Maya.

ohhh good triumphs evil!!!but why can't I see Maya evil and I do empathize with her...mental disorder from birth can't be villaneous always right ..and no one is evil either from birth...so the possibility of my theory is mearly zero...if she has any sort of disorder then this show be an eye opener as how to approach and to treat such people...what ashwin neglected arjun should achieve ie.,Maya should be treated, loved and helped...

@ani I am happy you took this line. Because this assumption by Ashwin is the basis of the story. Why a woman like Maya may not be acceptable to a man. Even Maya believes it is possible and it is driven deep into her and she is hell bent on hiding it from Arjun. In a world that is created by men for them Saanjh is acceptable Maya is not. It is an universal truth. That's why woman is an entitlement for man and not vica versa.

Didn't I say that Maya has a personality disorder since childhood? Just watched mon's and Tue's episode. Shows getting pretty interesting.

I didn't understand one thing.what she has to reveal to arjun according to her mother?she is getting panic attacks only when she is surrounded by her father or she recalls something related to her father.he is the actual psycho sadist,torturing his wife & his daughter for money and other sadistic happiness.sadism is mental illness/disorder of her father.some psychoes gets happiness by torturing kids.it is one type of sadism.maya &her mother are the victims.as maya was tortured at dat small age.she became mentally ill &weak.her mother has to encourage her dat she is not weak &she will become normal if she kept away from her father.Actually I want maya to reveal to arjun dat her father is sadist &she is getting panic attacks because of him & she is lacking peace in her life.They(maya &her mother) have to give police complaint on her father as she is rich &powerful.I don't think she h ad commited any crime in her past.Actually she wants arjun as she thinks arjun is capable of protecting her from her father.If she kept away from her father & live among some normal people for some years,she will become absolutely normal.her mother has to tell her she is normal girl.she is not a criminal dat somebody will run away from her life as far as dey showed about her.most of mental illness are treatable like other physical prblms.it is not a sin having some mental illness. otherwise she is very strong she achieved a lot,she is trying to control her mind but she don't want to show her vulnerability to anyone except her mother.many of us do that in our real lives .sorry for the boring post.

I dont want maya to reveal the truth to maya but i want janvi to reveal it to arjun and asks arjun to support her daughter. Arjun than proposes maya so he can heal all her wound and can make her a normal person and slowly arjun also starts falling in love with maya and that way they both can get together.

Coming to maya, i think there is some story behind ashwins tortures to maya. There is some reason behind it. Why would someone torture her own daughter so badly without any reason. Maybe maya had a young brother who died because of mayas mistake and ashwin being some kind of person who keeps men over women, would have got reAly Angry and his son was killed and starts torturing maya.
One more story can be there.
Jhanvi was first married to someone else and maya was the daughter from first husband. Jhanvi than fell in love with ashwin and ashwin just wanted her wealth. They both for married and ashwin hated maya being from jhanvis first husband.
