Very interesting and nicely written. I truly enjoyed parts of the story. There were also parts that I didn't quite like. I hated that Arnav revealed the contract marriage to everyone. I'll giv e you my reasoning..It wasn't required and he needed no one else's forgiveness other than Khushi's. he doesn't need to justify it to anyone especially since neither he nor Khushi seemed to put too much store into the fact that theirs was a contract marriage initially. When he calls her back for the first time, he asks he asks her if it was that easy for her to forget everything. Both of them are very private people who do not like others prying into their affairs. It's what defines their relationship. Personally, I loved that about their relationship and in the show that was one of the very few things they had kept till the end.
Another thing I didn't like too much was that you have shown Khushi a little too cold here. I totally understand What you have tried to portray but to me, ASR always tried to be cold towards Khushi but failed miserably every time. Her pain always affected him. If Khushi was trying to be like Arnav hen shouldn't His pain have affected her ?
I have always felt Khushi would forget every injustice meted out to her but Arnav would never be able to. In some corner of his heart he must avehave been regretting every single thing he didn't to her. I wish they had shown something like that in the show.
I did truly enjoy reading your take on Arnavs redemption though and would have never bothered to pitch in my two cents if I didn't think highly about your story and writing 😊
