In these past 8 years, the singhania household and the people living in it have changed a lot since akshara entered their house after marriage. She made every person in the house her own and won their hearts, as well as change their way of thinking. She made them see a different view of things, which ultimately made them adopt a whole new thinking all together and the singhania household was changed forever for good. It is a religious and cultured household that is more liberal in their way of life as compared to before when akshara first lived there.
Now that akshara is gone and naira has taken over the responsibility of the family and soon will be seen getting married in the goenka house, she will take all of akshara's ideals and teachings and transfer them over to her in-laws. Just like how akshara won the hearts of the singhania's and turned the family from a conservative to a liberal-thinking family, naira will do the same and change the dysfunctional, money-minded and image-conscious goenka's completely and make them realise the value of relationships and where they are going wrong. She will fix broken relationships and change the way each and every person in the goenka family thinks, but her main aims will be green tea and bappu as well as all those silly rules and regulations they have. Hopefully green tea will become less snobbish over time with naira's influence and may be cured of her superstitious fever.
Unfortunately though, akshara had 8 years to make all those changes whereas naira will have god knows how many, depending on the trp's as i don't how long the show will go on for now. Hopefully it runs for at least one more year for the sake of kaira and the new characters brought in, in order to showcase properly every character and their relationships as well as kaira's relationship after marriage. If it carries on for even one more year with kaira i will have no complaints as i think one year will be enough to showcase naira's issues after marriage, kaira marital life and changes in the goenkas.
