PriVeer OS(s): Snapshots from the Lives of Priyanka and Ranveer

Hello hello people of the Forums! 😊

I am new in the PriVeer fanbase. Still relatively new to the Forums I'd say (I joined last year, wrote for a short while and took a looong break until today), and still learning about the Forums.

Anyway, I decided to write mini stories that y'all can read separately or as interconnected. 😳

Contemplating

Ranveer stared at the sleeping form in his arms, her head on his chest and arms draped across his waist. He pulled her closer, and put his face in her hair, inhaling her scent. She smelled like jasmines and lavender. His mind drifted back to their first meeting, her in her yellow lehenga with her hair in a precise up do. She was beautiful then and she is beautiful now. The pang in his heart remains for how he treated her, when he could have showered her all the love in this world even though it wouldn't be enough. Ranveer knew how Priyanka was. She tells him even now, that he was and still is one of those very few people who really saw her. Not the daughter of a business magnet but as Priyanka - as the shy girl, who suffers from social anxiety, who is kind and has a heart of gold. No matter what the world thinks Ranveer understood the Priyanka hidden under the glamour of the Oberoi clan. He saw the real Priyanka. His Priyanka.

When he tells her he loves her, her eyes still gleam with love and admiration just like they did when he confessed to her for the first time. When he tells her that she's beautiful, a beautiful blush adorns her cheeks, even though it has been 4 years since the duo tied the knot. She can still be shy around him and he adores that. Sometimes, she can be a bit bold and he loves it just as much. He never really thought that he would find someone to be so crazy about and he is glad it is Priyanka, because he wouldn't change it. "Sleep tight, baby doll, tomorrow will be a long one," he said and kissed her head. It has been a long day for both of them, he with his never ending run behind the culprits and Priyanka as she recently decided to become a teacher. Tomorrow will be even a longer day, as she has to go to a field trip with the children at school and he has to show up at the court, final day for a case that he thought was only getting twisted. "I promise to be the best husband and dad love," he said and kissed her head. To his surprise, she snuggled in closer and smiled. She was awake the whole time!

Snapshot 2: Of Pregnancy and Confessions

It was Rudra and Shoumya's son's birthday and everyone was invited.

Ranveer stared at the woman in front of him, hands on her hips and pouting. She looked magnificent in her pink saree. There were all kinds of outfits scattered all around the room -sarees, lehengas pretty much every form of attire known to mankind.

This was the 8th outfit his wifey tried because she didn't like how the last 7 looked on her.

"Tell me how I look" she said, her eyes literally tearing up. "You look sexy" he said and smirked. His attempt to flirt with his wife failed, as she narrowed her eyes and said "you get up and come here right now," she then turned towards the mirror and said "I look like a cow," her eyes on the verge of spilling tears. Oh pregnancy hormones. Gone was his shy little wife and in front of him was standing a feisty woman. He was smitten and loved this side just as much.

He got up and said "Priya, are you kidding me? You look absolutely stunning." She turned to look at him, her husband in his suit and tie, handsome as ever. "You think so?" she finally asked, her eyes gleaming like a child's. "I know so. You are the most beautiful and amazing woman I have ever met my love" he said and went closer to her. He pulled her closer, placing his hands on her waist, and said "you are kind, loving and absolutely beautiful" he said, putting emphasis on each word, looking into her eyes so that she would understand that he means all that he had said. This time she smiled, the smile that he genuinely loved and would always try to protect even if it meant he has to fight with the world. He put a soft peck on lips and pulled her close. She blushed and hid her face in his chest and he chuckled. "I love you," she said, shyly. "As I love you, baby doll" he said.
