Trust me, hun. We are at our wit's end as well. As Sabita suggested to me before, I am detaching myself slowly from this show... I just can't relate anymore.

I am sick and tired of Ishwari! I am sick and tired of her love which is nothing but masked emotional blackmail. I am sick and tired of Sona's status in Dixit house. Enough already. Let her leave and let nature take its course whereby everyone including Dev realizes that love is not something you take for granted and neither is Sona. She is not a toy and neither are her emotions so worthless that they can be toyed with just so IShwari can love her. Once again Dev took Sona's love for granted bu playing with her emotions for motherhood to just so his mother can bond with his wife. I feel like yelling like Jennifer lopez did in the movie 'Enough'...ENOUGH!!!!

P.S - I knew this whole pregnancy would turn out to be debacle. but it is turning out to be worse. It is turning out to be the worst of Tsunamis that causes humungous toll mostly because the losses could have been averted by early cautioning.

Hello Tia. Was absent for a long time as Had stopped watching the show but have started liking the episodes again
My view is slightly different.

Ishwari is no longer Goddess in Dev's eyes. God's don't make mistakes. They aren't cruel. They don't ill treat good human beings. Dev knows Ishwari is doing all this things with Sona.

I think the process started after the Maa calling drama. When Dev realised it was wrong to call Asha aunty, he also realised it was wrong for his mother to expect him to do so.

He might not have thought proactively but the process started in his sub conscious brain. The fever drama finally made him realise how his family actually treats his wife. Since then a new improved version of Dev is slowly emerging.

Lot of men take years to understand their wives true condition in their homes for the simple reason that they believe their mother implicitly.

It takes several incidents and years for them to realise that their all loving mother is actually very different person with their wife.

Dev is also like that only. Comparing him to Vicky is useless who is strong only because he is selfish. The way he is treating his mother now, he will treat Elena once the physical attraction dies.

If we look closely in this entire incident, Dev is more concerned about how his mother will treat Sona. He might be chanting maa and Sona to fool himself but actions speak louder than words and are largely governed by the sub conscious.

I know what he is doing is idiocy at its extreme hoping that his lies will bring mummy and Sona closer and they will all live happily ever after.

A fool's paradise he is living in because he is so used to saying yes boss to his mother that he doesn't have the guts to fight with his mother for his wife and is hoping that God will get him an easy way out.

Which obviously is not going to be the case. I think he is going to be backed in a corner with his marriage breaking. Only then he will proactively take a stand. He already knows his mother is wrong. Now Ishwari just has to provide him the right incentive to completely come out of her control.

Good to see you again, Payal. Yes, you have a point there. But what is Dev doing now is going to hurt both women he claims to love. He has always been a patch up King. Instead of fixing the problem by facing it head on, he keeps lying and putting temporary damage control measures which is eating up the foundation of his relationships. I don't know how Sonakshi will forgive prolonged deceit, but knowing TV land's mahaan bahu tradition, I am pretty sure she will.

Dev is taking the cowards way out and hoping that God will protect him from having to take a stand against his mother as he knows what her reaction will be once truth comes out.

But then God only helps those who help themselves as Dev will soon find out. He gives you strength and opportunity. He doesn't do your job for you.

My only fear is that they might show Dev waking up too late after Sonakshi walks out of his life. I have a feeling that the prenuptial is going to be the last nail in Ishwari's coffin and will completely destroy the mother son relationship.

If they want to extend the serial we might get to see Sonakshi in some other town with Dev's child (about existence he doesn't know) , a repentant Ishwari and a Dev who doesn't talk to his mother. The reverse of extreme love is extreme hate and Ishwari is dragging her son to that point.
