DO you think Vidya was wearing micro minis and pouting in flower pot roles when she achieved her super success? That too she didn't enter as a 17, 18 year old, do you think she was a young maiden when she achieved her success and had her huge hits? Stupid. She was a mature lady who audiences accepted because the films worked and her work was superlative. Like smith, shabana she has set a precedent. She has created a slot of older women being successful.

She didn't lose 20 KSG for Kahaani or TDP. She doesn't need to go and do lipo or cut up her face to get some dancing role and be associated with a hit hero and film. Like amitabh bacchan didn't go thru all those flops and come back with Baghban, KAbhi Khushi k g.

Just the right film needs to come her way, like Drishyam did for Tabu, and English Vinglish for Sri.

Heroines go away after one flop or two...she didn't. And she won't. Because her career doesn't depend on showing thighs and dancing to two songs. Yes, if she had had a baby, she would take time off. But unless that happens, the lady will continue to act. She has her own set of loyal fans and irrespective of her hits and flops, they love her. On screen and off.

So, that's WHATS NEXT. IDiot.

Kahaani 2 is a good film, yes but it could have been sharper and more edgier, especially in the 2nd half, when in became kind of predictable.

Further, linking the name of the movie to Kahaani was probably not a wise move.

Anyway, the comments by the trade analysts are distasteful - we often forget the difference between a star and an actor. Vidya will always remain an exemplary actress, irrespective of her status at the B.O.

Vidya is a versatile actress and Kahaani 2 was an interesting and well made film.

This has got to be the shittiest article I've read in the recent months. I'm glad Vidya time and again proves these idiots who say married women have no scope in Bollywood wrong by acting in some film or the other as the main lead. That shitty distributor talking about her losing weight, well I think it takes guts for a 'married' , 'overweight' actress to dress up in a one piece patient uniform with prosthetics , showing off her 'fat legs' and 'huge belly' , running like a lunatic on the streets of Chandannagar on the big screen that will be watched by a judgmental audience because that is what her character demands and that is what she does as an actor and I'm glad we still have actors like her around,not giving a f**k to these assholes who will criticize am actress because she is married or fat.

And what's with this married women don't run box office? What great box office collections are being made by films starring unmarried actors like Ranveer, Ranbir, Alia etc?

I personally am super proud to be a fan of an actor like Vidya for being happy in whatever she is doing and not giving a damn!
